DIRECTOR

Takes everything into account such as the script, storyboard, costumes, props, target audience, floor plan, locations. The director ensures that an effective music video is produced that suits the song and covers all aspects. The director is there to guide the other jobs of the people involved in the production. A music video director is

involved at every stage of the production process.

CAMERA OPERATORS

This role involves evaluating the story board to decide which shots need certain angles and camera shots. The camera operators will work

closely with the director who will guide them to finding which angle and shot is most suitable. Camera operators would need skills such as a good sense of visual composition, perspective and movement.

LIGHTING

Help to provide the most relevant lighting and power supply to either the set of location of the music video. They are in charge to make sure that the correct lighting is used for each scene of the music

video. As well as this they work closely with the director to get the best possible outcome through the lighting.

SOUND EDITOR

The responsibilities of the sound editor are to prepare the sound and music for the final edit. During the shooting of

the video they will have to ensure that no microphones aren’t visible. They are also responsible for the video audio’s requirements, as well as specifying equipment

required.
