Operations The operations group is responsible for Policy & Strategy, Technology &

Distribution, Property, Legal Affairs, Fair Trading and Business Continuity this includes managing BBC buildings and Major Infrastructure Projects.

BBC North The BBC Group includes BBC Sport, CBBC, 5 LIVE and parts of Learning and

Future Media. It will join department in Manchester to become our second largest production hub.

News Group The News Group comprises the BBC News, English Regions, and BBC Global

News Divisions. It is responsible for all the BBC’s news, current affairs and Sport Output. Helen Boaden has overall Editorial and Managerial responsibility for UK wide and Global News and Current affairs on radio television and online.

Finance & Business BBC finance & Business manages all aspects of the BBC’s finances. This

includes financial planning and strategy, and managing the collection and spending of the revenue from the license fee to ensure the BBC presents value for money.

Executive Board The Executive board manages the BBC. It is responsible for operational

management and for the delivery of the BBC services according to the plans that have been agreed with the BBC trust. The board delegates some of its responsibilities to four sub-committees: Audit, Fair Trading, Nominations, and remuneration.

Audio & Music BBC Audio & Music is responsible for all the BBC national radio networks

and for the production of most of the classical and popular music across radio and television
