Vocabulary

1. equation – a statement that the values of two mathematical expression are equal.

to achieve.

3. land lady – a woman who owns land or houses that she rents.

4. wandered (wander) – to move around or go to different places usually without having a particular purpose or direction.

5. pawnshop – the shop of pawnbroker, especially one where unredeemed items are displayed and sold.

6. weird – is relating to the supernatural or strange or unconventional.

7.trough - a long, narrow, open receptacle, usually boxlike in shape, used to hold water or foods.

8. trowel - a small hand tool with a curved blade used by gardeners.

9. packets – a small parcel or envelope containing a set of similar things.

10. vacant – having no contents; emptyvoid.
