What constraints are there?

During our photography task, we need to make sure

we don’t advertise the product in a way that would

be false by adding items to the dish that wont be

available upon purchase or manipulating the image

too much.

2 flashes

3 foam cards (these bounce light onto the subject)

We will produce the images using 600D

Composition:

• What angle should the camera be placed for the dish?

For most of the dishes, the angle should be straight to create a

naturalist view however some dishes would look good being shot

slightly higher as then it would look like a point of view shot of

someone sat down to eat.

• There will be a variety of lenses available (18-55mm, 90mm

Macro, 70-200mm)

The use of colour for this dish:

• Change the circles to the colours that should

be used for this dish

• What objects could be placed into the scene

to enhance colours?

We, as a group, should make use of items such

as napkins and table cloths/settings to insure the

colours will be enhanced.

Manipulation:

What work will this dish require on Photoshop?

The colours of this dish will be quite bland and therefore the

colours will be brightened

The bread may produce a lot of crumbs and could possibly

be tidied up using the spot healing or the clone stamp tool.

The lighting may need to be adjusted and can be done by

changing the brightness and contrast levels accordingly.
