Results And Conclusions
By: Karolina Kocaj
Introduction
I have collected all my results and put the results to each question on either a bar chart or a pie chart. Next to the charts I have said why I have included each of the questions and have made conclusions for each question. I have also said how these results will help me with making decisions when it comes to production of my music magazine.
Q1: What Gender Are You?
Male: 8 Female:12
This was the first question on my questionnaire, and it helped me to find out which gender is interested in the magazine more. From the results of this question I know that the majority of people who have answered my questionnaire were female. This means that the results could be biased and more female friendly. However this could also mean that more women may be interested in buying the magazine, so this will help me to think about the general look of the magazine.
Q2: How Old Are You?

This question was necessary in my questionnaire as it will help me to find out what age range within my target audience most people that I have questioned fall under. In this question I have covered the full age range of my target audience. From these results I can see that most people who I have questioned fall under the under 18 category. This means that my results are biased in favour of people who are in the younger range of my target audience. However these results will help me to think about the details in my magazine that will be suitable for the younger people within my age range as they are going to be the people who are going to buy the magazine the most often.
I have presented the results for this question in a bar chart. So everyone can see.
Q3: Do You Read Music Magazines?
Yes: 16 No: 4
I have asked this question as I wanted to know if people who I have questioned actually read music magazines, as this plays an important part in order to know what to include in a music magazine or how it could be made, so I can make it the best I can. From these results I can see that 80% of people that I have questioned actually read music magazines. So they know what the music magazine needs to include in order for them to buy it and enjoy reading it. The opinions of these people will really help me. I have not displayed the results on a graphs as there are only two options which we easy to compare and understand for others.

I have asked this question as results from this question should help me decide on the frequency of publication of my music magazine. In this question there were six options to choose from. Which were: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, yearly and never. I think that these have covered most of the options that could be used for frequency of publication. From these results I can see that the biggest chunk of people who have answered my questionnaire buy music magazines monthly and the least amount of people buy music magazines bi-monthly. Through these results I can now decide that the frequency of publication of my music magazine will most likely be monthly, as this is what suits my target audience the most.
Here I have displayed my results as a pie chart, as it clearly shows all my results along with the percentages. These help me with my conclusions.

decide on the price of my music magazine. In this question I have included a range of different prices that are suitable for a music magazine. From these results I can see that most people are willing to pay between £3.51 and £4.50 for the music magazine. And no one was willing to pay above £4.51 which I now know that I’m not going to make the price of my music magazine above that. Through these results the decisions that I’m going to make about the price of my music magazine will fall somewhere between £3.51 and £4.50 as this is what my target audience is willing to pay for the music magazine.
I feel like this question was one of the most important questions in my questionnaire, as it will help me to

From these results I can see that the most popular colours that people chose was white and the second popular was black. However the least popular colour was brown which I now know I’m not going to use. On the other hand people have also suggested colours such as gold and silver, which came under other. I have asked this question as I wanted to find out what likes and dislikes my target audience has when it comes to music magazine. By looking at the results I can see that people that I have asked have said that the thing they like the most is having a lot of images. So I need to make sure to include a lot of images in my music magazine. The number one thing that people who answered my questionnaire said that they dislike are adverts. So I need to make sure to not include adverts in my magazine, and if I do it can’t be too many. As this will not please my target audience.
This is the last question that I have asked on my questionnaire.
I have presented the data that I have collected in a bar chart, as it clearly shows the likes and dislikes and the results.
ConclusionsThrough collecting the results, by giving out the questionnaire to people in my target audience. I was able to make very important decisions about what should I include and what should I not include in my music magazine. These results have also helped me to make decisions about what the magazine should look like, which included things such as the colour scheme and the masthead. The results have also helped me on deciding the price of the magazine and the frequency of publication, which is all very important. A s I want my music magazine to suit my target audience. All these things will help me make suitable music magazine for my music magazine, so that they will enjoy reading it and buy it.
