  • 1. Global Windows Shortcuts

2. Win + 1, 2, 3, etc. Launches each program on the taskbar 3. Win + Alt + 1, 2, 3, etc. Opens the jump list for each program on the taskbar 4. Win + T Cycles through taskbar programs Insert Enter to launch selected program 5. Win + Home Minimizes all programs except the selected window. 6. Win + B Selects the system tray 7. Win + Up/Down Maximizes and restore down the current window 8. Alt + Esc Switches between opened windows 9. Win + Pause/Break Opens system properties window 10. Ctrl + Esc Opens the start menu but will not work as a Windows key replacement for other shortcuts 11. Ctrl + Shift + Esc Directly opens Windows Task Manager 12. Alt + Space Opens selected window system menu 13. Windows Explorer Shortcuts 14. Alt + Up Navigates up one folder level Alternatively, Backspace to up one folder level 15. Shift + F10 Opens contextual or right click menu of a file/folder 16. Shift + Del Permanently deleting selected file/folder, meaning unable to retrieve from the recycle bin 17. New FolderCtrl + Shift + N Creates a new folder in the current directory 18. Alt + Enter Opens the file properties of selected file/folder to view file size, sharing settings, and creation data 19. Zaman UnivF2 Renames selected file/folder 20. F3 Opens explorer and select the search bar If explorer is already opened, it will highlights the search bar 21. F6 Cycles object in current window 22.
