RULES OF STUDY

for first study cycle

at International Burch University

I OPĆE ODREDBE I GENERAL PROVISIONS

Član 1. Article 1

Ovim pravilima bliže se uređuje organizacija i

izvođenje studija prvog ciklusa, napredovanje

studenata u toku studija, vrednovanje rada studenata,

dodjeljivanje stepena i diploma, izdavanje isprava o

studijama, kao i druga pitanja od značaja za završavnje

studija prvog ciklusa na organizacionim jedinicama

visokoškolske ustanove Internacionalni Burč

univerzitet-International Burch University (dalje:

Pravila studiranja).

These Rules regulate more closely the organization

and performance of the first study cycle study cycle,

progress of students in the course of study, the

granting of scholarships and awarding of diplomas,

issuance of documents concerning study as well as

other relevant issues which are important for the first

study cycle at the academic departments of the higher

education institute of International Burch University

(hereinafter referred to as: the Rules of Study).

Studij prvog ciklusa na organizacionim jedinicama

visokoškolske ustanove Internacionalni Burč

univerzitet-International Burch University (u daljem

tekstu Univerzitet) organizuje se i ostvaruje u skladu

sa Zakonom o visokom obrazovanju Kantona Sarajevo i Pravilima studiranja zasnovanim na Evropskom

sistemu prenosa bodova (ECTS).

The first study cycle at the academic departments of

the higher education institute of International Burch

University (hereinafter referred to as: the University)

is organized and conducted in accordance with the

Law on Higher Education of Sarajevo Canton and the Rules of study based on the European Credit Transfer

System (ECTS).

II ORGANIZACIJA STUDIJA II ORGANIZATION OF STUDY

Član 3. Article 3

1) Univerzitet organizuje i izvodi studij prvog

ciklusa iz naučnih i stručnih oblasti za koje je

akreditovan.

2) Nastava na svim odsjecima i katedrama

Univerziteta, osim Odsjeka za orijentalnu filologiju,

izvodi se na engleskom jeziku.

3) Nastava na Odsjeku za orijentalnu

filologiju, smjer Turski jezik i književnost,

Edukacijskog fakulteta, izvodi se na turskom jeziku.

1) The University organizes and performs the

first study cycle in the scientific and professional

fields for which it is accredited.

2) Instruction at these units and departments,

except the Oriental Philology Department, is

delivered in the English language.

3) Instruction at the Oriental Philology

Department, field of Turkish language and literature

of the Education Faculty, is delivered in Turkish

language.

Član 4. Article 4

1) Studijski programi podijeljeni su na

studijske godine i semestre.

2) U skladu sa ECTS obim studijskog

programa iznosi 60 ECTS bodova u jednoj studijskoj

godini, odnosno 30 ECTS bodova u jednom semestru.

3) Jedan bod odnosi se na 25-30 sati rada

studenta u ukupnom fondu opterećenja studenta koje

je predviđeno nastavnim planom i programom. which is prescribed by the curriculum. Član 5. Article 5

Broj bodova za pojedini predmet (kurs) određuje se

prema broju sati nastave (teorijske i/ili praktične,

vježbi, seminara i slično), vremenu rada studenta na

samostalnim zadacima (domaći zadaci, projekti,

seminarski radovi i slično) i vremenu za učenje kod

pripreme za provjeru znanja i ocjenjivanje (testovi,

kolokviji, završni ispit).

The number of credits for individual courses is

determined according to the number of hours of

teaching (theoretical and/or practical, exercises,

seminars and the like), as well as the work of students

on independent assignments (home assignments,

projects, seminar work and the like) and the time

needed for learning when they prepare for evaluation

of knowledge (tests, midterm exams, final exam).

Član 6. Article 6

Prvi ciklus studija na akademskim studijskim

programima za sticanje diplome akademskog prvog

ciklusa studija traju tri studijske godine, odnosno 180

ECTS bodova, ili četiri godine što predstavlja 240

ECTS bodova.

The first study cycle in the academic departments to

gain the diploma of the academic first study cycle

lasts for three study years or, respectively, 180 ECTS

points, or four years leading to 240 ECTS points.

Član 7. Article 7

1) Student koji je položio sve ispite

predviđene za upisani studijski program i ispunio sve

ostale obaveze propisane Statutom Univerziteta, ovim

Pravilima i drugim općim aktima Univerziteta stiče

diplomu prvog ciklusa studija odgovarajućeg

studijskog programa (180 bodova za trogodišnji studij,

odnosno 240 bodova za četverogodišnji studij).

2) Uz diplomu studija prvog ciklusa izdaje se

dodatak diplome (Supplement) radi detaljnijeg uvida u

nivo, prirodu, sadržaj, sistem i pravila studiranja i

postignute rezultate tokom studija.

1) The student who has passed all the exams

prescribed by the academic program in which they are

enrolled and who has met all other obligations

prescribed by the Statute of University, these Rules

and other general acts of the University, shall receive

a diploma for the first study cycle in the relevant

academic subject (180 credits for a three-year study

program or, respectively 240 credits for a four-year

study program).

2) A Diploma Supplement accompanies the

Diploma of the first study cycle for a more detailed

insight into the level, nature, content, system and

rules of study, as well as the achieved outcome during

the course of study.

Član 8. Article 8

Studijski program sadrži opće i posebne uslove koje

student treba da zadovolji za sticanje određenog

znanja, i to:

1. prikaz obaveznih i izbornih predmeta

(kurseva) po studijskim godinama i semestrima;

2. broj sati individualnog opterećenja studenta

po predmetu (kursu);

3. broj ECTS bodova za svaki predmet (kurs);

The study program contains general and specific

requirements to be met by a student in order to obtain

certain knowledge, namely:

1. Number of compulsory and optional

courses in study years and semesters;

2. Number of required course hours for the

student as per course;

3. Number of ECTS points for each course;

4. Other forms of instruction intended for the

organizovana na takav način;

7. završni rad (diplomski rad), ukoliko je

planiran.

Član 9. Article 9

Studijski program prikazuje se u obliku tabela ili

dijagrama.

Podaci o predmetu (kursu) sadrže:

1. naziv predmeta (kursa) i odgovarajuću šifru

za lakšu identifikaciju predmeta (kursa);

2. kratak opis programa predmeta (kursa) koji

omogućava razumijevanje njegove sadržine od strane

studenata i drugih potencijalnih partnera;

3. procjenu nivoa predmeta (kursa), što

podrazumijeva jasnu naznaku potrebnih prethodnih

znanja (uz navođenje predmeta (kurseva) koje treba

prethodno položiti i preporuku literature koju treba

koristiti za pripremu), postavljenih ciljeva i liste

stručne literature;

4. naznaku o obaveznim i izbornim

predmetima (kursevima);

5. dužinu trajanja nastave - godinu studija,

semestar, broj sati nedjeljno, mjesto predmeta (kursa)

u ukupnom pregledu (dijagram strukture studija);

6. metod nastave i savlađivanja gradiva –

predavanja, konsultacije, vježbe, laboratorijske vježbe,

seminari, terenski rad i slično, sa brojem nedjeljnih

sati i ukupnom broju nedjelja trajanja određene

aktivnosti;

7. ECTS bodove predviđene za određeni

predmet (kurs), u skladu sa općim postavkama ECTS-

a.

The study program is presented in the form of tables

or diagrams.

The course data contains:

1. Course title and relevant code for easier

course identification;

2. Short description of the course program

making its content understanding by the students and

other potential partners;

3. Assessment of the level of the course

which implies a clear level of necessary preceding

knowledge (indicating the course to be taken and

referenced literature to be used for preparation), set

objectives and the list of professional literature;

4. Indication of compulsory and optional

courses;

5. Duration of teaching – year of study,

semester, weekly hours, position of the course in the

overall scheme (Study Structure Diagram);

6. Method of teaching and mastering the

material – lectures, consultations, exercises,

laboratory exercises, seminar papers, field work and

the like, with weekly hours and total number of weeks

of the duration of the activity .

7. ECTS points prescribed for a certain course

in accordance with the general ECTS protocols .

Organizacija nastave Organization of Teaching

Član 10. Article 10

(Organizacija studijske godine)

1) Studijska godina se organizira u dva

semestra: zimski i ljetni.

2) Nastava u zimskom semestru počinje trećeg

ponedjeljka u septembru i traje 16 sedmica (15

sedmica kontinuiranih aktivnosti plus sedam radnih

dana za završni ispit).

3) Dopunska nastava i popravni ispiti nakon

zimskog semestra traju najduže četiri sedmice.

4) Ovjera zimskog semestra i upis ljetnog

semestra traje do dvije sedmice.

5) Nastava u ljetnom semestru počinje trećeg

ponedjeljka u februaru i traje 16 sedmica (15 sedmica

kontinuiranih aktivnosti plus sedam radnih dana za

završni ispit).

6) Dopunska nastava i popravni ispiti nakon

ljetnog semestra traju najduže četiri sedmice.

7) Ljetni odmor traje najduže 8 sedmica.

8) Ovjera ljetnog semestra i upis zimskog

semestra traju do dvije sedmice.

9) Univerzitet odnosno organizacione jedinice

organiziraju jedan dodatni ispitni rok sa jednim

ispitnim terminom u zadnjoj sedmici avgusta i prve

dvije sedmice septembra.

10) Ispitnom terminu iz stava (9) ovog člana

mogu pristupiti studenti koji su ostvarili pravo polaganja završnih ispita tokom ljetnog i zimskog

semestra u skladu sa nastavnim programom.

11) Kalendar organizacije i realizacije

nastavnih programa za studijsku godinu utvrđuje i

objavljuje senat Univerziteta, najkasnije 60 dana prije

početka izvođenja nastave.

(Study year organization)

1) The study year is organized in two

semesters: winter and summer semesters

2) Instruction in the winter semester begins

on the third Monday of September and lasts for 16

weeks (15 weeks of continuous activity plus seven

work days for the final exam).

3) Remedial teaching and make-up

examinations after the winter semester shall last for a

maximum of four weeks.

4) Verification of winter semester and

enrollment of the summer semester shall last up to

two weeks.

5) The summer semester teaching starts on

the third Monday in February and lasts for 16 weeks

(15 weeks of continuous activity plus seven working

days for final exam).

6) Remedial teaching and make-up

examinations after the summer semester shall last

four weeks, maximum.

7) Summer holiday lasts 8 weeks, maximum.

8) Verification of summer semester and

enrollment of the winter semester shall last up to two

weeks.

9) The University or, respectively,

departments organize one additional examination

term with one term in the last week of August and the

first two weeks of September.

10) The examination term under paragraph

(9) of this Article may be taken by students eligible

for the final examination over the summer and winter

semester in accordance with the curriculum.

11) The calendar for the organization and

implementation of the curriculumfor a study year is

determined and made public by the University Senate

not later than 60 days prior the to beginning of the

courses.

Član 11. Article 11

(Organizacija nastave)

1) Nastava se realizira i izvodi prema

utvrđenom rasporedu sati.

(Organization of teaching)

1) Teaching is implemented and conducted

2) Univerzitet, odnosno organizacione jedinice su obavezne objaviti raspored sati iz stava (1) ovog

člana, najkasnije deset dana prije početka realizacije

nastave.

3) Raspored sati sadrži: naziv nastavnog

programa, oznaku studijske godine, naziv predmeta,

vrijeme (dan, sat) održavanja nastave, mjesto

održavanja nastave (sale, laboratorije), imena

nastavnog osoblja koje izvodi nastavu i druga uputstva

o nastavi.

4) Predmetni nastavnik obavezan je da u prvoj

sedmici nastave upozna studente s planom rada na

predmetu.

2) The University or, respectively,

departments are obliged to make public the time table

under paragraph (1) of this Article, not later than ten

days prior to the beginning of courses.

3) The time table contains:the title of the

program, the study year, course title, time (day, hour),

subject, location of the course (room, laboratory),

names of teaching staff conducting the teaching and

other instructions related tog to teaching.

4) The teacher of the course is obliged to

introduce the students to the curriculum of the course

in the first week of the course meeting.

Član 12. Article 12

(Plan rada)

1) Predmetni nastavnik obavezan je

informirati studente o ciljevima, sadržaju i metodama

realizacije nastave iz nastavnog predmeta, kao i o

metodama i kriterijima praćenja njihovog rada,

provjere znanja i ocjenjivanja.

2) Zadaci predviđeni za individualni rad

studenta (seminarski radovi, projekti, referati, zadaće i

drugi oblici realizacije studijskih obaveza) moraju biti

ravnomjerno raspoređeni u toku semestra, odnosno

studijske godine.

3) Ukupni obim zadataka iz stava (2) ovog

člana mora biti usklađen sa opterećenjem predviđenim

na predmetu, saglasno (E)CTS-u.

4) Predmetni nastavnik je obavezan da u toku

realizacije nastave, izvršavanja samostalnih zadataka

od strane studenta i njihovih priprema za savladavanje

nastavno-naučnih sadržaja i provjeru znanja, pomogne

studentima organiziranjem i održavanjem redovnih, a

po potrebi ili na zahtjev studenata i dodatnih

konsultacija.

5) Termini za konsultacije u toku sedmice

moraju biti usklađeni sa planom realizacije nastave

tako da su prilagođeni obavezama akademskog

osoblja, kao i potrebama studenata. Konsultacije mogu

biti organizirane u vidu kabinetskih ili konsultacija u

učionici, korištenjem e-maila i drugih vidova

elektronskih komunikacija, uz obavezu da se najmanje

5 sati sedmično planira za kabinetske konsultacije.

6) Promjena rasporeda sati i plana rada u toku

semestra u pravilu nije dopuštena.

7) U slučaju nužne promjene rasporeda sati i

1) The teacher of the course is obliged to

inform the students on the objectives, content,and

methods of teaching implementation of the relevant

course, together with the methods and criteria of

following their work, testing of knowledge and

evaluation.

2) Assignments envisioned for individual

work of students (seminar papers, projects, speeches,

lessons and other forms of study obligations) must be

evenly distributed within a semester and study year,

respectively.

3) The overall volume under paragraph (2) of

this Article must be in conformity with the course

load, provided for by (E)CTS.

4) In the implementation of instruction,

performance of independent assignments by the

students and their preparation for mastering

educational and scientific contents and knowledge

testing, the teacher of the course is bound to assist the

students by organizing and conducting regular, and if

necessary or at the request of the students, additional

6) As a rule, any change in time table and

work plan in the course of a semester is not allowed.

7) In case of unavoidable change in time table

and work plan, the teacher of the course is obliged to

inform the students thereof in a transparent and public manner, not later than 24 hours prior to any change.

8) The course teacher is, in accordance with

the curriculum, responsible for of all forms of teaching-lecturing, exercises, seminar papers,

practical work , as well as for overseeing students’

activities and testing their knowledge.

1) Student prijavljuje predmete (kurseve) koje

treba da sluša i polaže u narednoj studijskoj godini,

odnosno semestru, prije početka nastave u

odgovarajućem semestru, a za prvu studijsku godinu

nakon upisa.

2) Prijava predmeta se vrši na propisanom

obrascu.

3) Izgled i sadržaj obrasca utvrđuje Prorektor

za nastavu i studentska pitanja.

4) Izbor predmeta (kurseva) vrši se do opterećenja od 30 ECTS bodova za semestar i 60

ECTS bodova za godinu, osim u slučajevima u kojima

je, odlukom prorektora za nastavu i studentska pitanja

i ovim pravilima, utvrđeno drugačije.

4) U sprovođenju anketa mogu se uključiti i

drugi članovi akademskog osoblja i studenti, koje

odredi rektor i predstavničko tijelo studenata.

5) Anketa se obavezno sprovodi odmah po

završetku semestra.

6) Anketiranje može da se sprovede i u toku

semestra na prijedlog predstavničkog tijela studenata

na Univerzitetu.

(kurs) unose se u personalni dosije nastavnika.

3) Nastavnik izabran po prvi put u akademsko

zvanje, kao i nastavnik koji po prvi put predaje

određene predmete (kurseve), ima pravo da zahtijeva

da se podaci o prvoj godini njegove nastave ne unose u

dosije.

4) Dekan je dužan da nastavnika čije su ocjene

znatno ispod prosjeka pozove na razgovor, ukaže mu

A student transferring from another university is also

recognized as having the status of a student, provided

s/he has met prescribed criteria for the status. In this

case, the length of study at the other university is

(Priznavanje ispita)

1) Studentu koji je položio ispit na drugom

studijskom programu priznaje se položeni ispit, ako

predmet (kurs) iz kojeg je ispit položen, po svojoj

sadržini i obimu odgovara predmetu (kursu) koji je

student upisao, što se dokazuje dokumentima

predviđenim ECTS pravilima.

2) Ako predmet (kurs) iz kojeg je ispit položen

po svojoj sadržini i obimu približno odgovara

predmetu (kursu) koji je student upisao, može se

priznati ispit u cjelini ako je ocijenio da je student kroz

obrađeni i položeni program stekao znanje i vještine u

mjeri dovoljnoj za priznavanje ispita.

3) Priznavanjem ispita priznaje se i ocjena

kojom je student ocijenjen na ispitu.

4) Broj bodova priznatog ispita utvrđuje se u

skladu sa pravilima ECTS.

5) Ako postoji razlika u nastavnim

programima položenih predmeta, utvrđuje se

odgovarajuća razlika predmeta ili dijela predmeta koje

je student dužan položiti. Student je dužan da u daljem

školovanju na Univerzitetu položi utvrđenu razliku

ispita i da stekne broj kredit-bodova predviđenih za

upis u naredne godine studija u skladu sa odredbama

ovih Pravila.

6) Nakon okončanja postupka priznavanja

položenih ispita, studentu prelazniku utvrđuje se status

studenta na Univerzitetu.

7) Za provođenje procedure iz prethodnih

stavova dekan ili vijeće organizacione jedinice može

imenovati posebnu komisiju.

8) Komisija iz prethodnog stava broji između

tri i pet članova iz reda akdemskog osoblja u zvanju

(Recognition of Examinations)

1) The student who passed an exam ar

passed the exam, if the course related to the exame

corresponds by its content and volume to the course

in which the student is enrolled, which is proved with

documents set forthd by the ECTS rules.

2) If the course related to the examination

approximately corresponds by its content and volume

to the course in which the student has enrolled, the

examination may be recognized as a whole, if it is

determined that the student, through the studied

material and completed program, has acquired the

knowledge and skills to the extent sufficient for

recognition of the examination.

3) By recognition of the examination, the

obtained grade is recognized, as well.

4) Number of the recognized exam credits is

determined in accordance with the ECTS rules.

5) If there is a difference in the curriculum of

the passed examinations, the relevant difference in the

course or part of the course, which the student is

obliged to pass, shall be determined.

6) Following completion of the procedure of

recognizing the passed examinations, the transfer

student is given the status of a student at the

University.

7) For the purpose of conducting the

procedures under the preceding paragraphs, the Dean

or the Council of the organizational unit can appoint a

specific commission.

8) The aforementioned commission

comprises between three and five members from

among the academic staff having the titles of teacher

1) Prelazak studenata sa drugih Univerziteta

vrši se u skladu sa Bolonjskim načelima i ECTS

bodovnim sistemom.

2) Zahtjev za prijelaz uz nastavne planove i

programe položenih predmeta (samo za studente izvan

Univerziteta) i uvjerenje o položenim ispitima, student

podnosi u pravilu petnaest dana prije početka nastave

u semestru, odnosno najkasnije dva dana prije početka

nastave. 3) Student prijelaznik je dužan priložiti:

ispisnicu sa univerziteta sa kojeg dolazi, originalna

dokumenta i indeks (upisnicu), ukoliko Univerzitet sa

kojeg student prelazi isti izdaje.

4) Odluku o odobravanju prijelaza donosi

dekan.

1) Transfer of students from other universities

is performed in accordance with the Bologna

Principles and ECTS system.

2) Application for transfer together with

grades and curriculum of the passed courses (only for

the students outside of the University ) and certificate

of passed examinations shall be submitted by a

student, as a rule, fifteen days prior to the beginning

of the teaching semester or, respectively, not later

than two days prior to the beginning of teaching.

3) The transfer student is bound to attach:

which s/he is being transferred, original documents

and student’s transcript (entry-book) of the University

Student ima pravo da u toku studija provede određeno

vrijeme (semestar ili studijsku godinu) na drugoj

ustanovi visokog obrazovanja u zemlji ili inostranstvu,

posredstvom međunarodnih programa za razmjenu

studenata ili na bazi bilateralnih ugovora između

univerziteta. U skladu sa ugovorom koji student

zaključuje sa Univerzitetom priznaje mu se ostvareni

broj bodova. Razmjena studenata ne podrazumijeva

izdavanje diplome, odnosno sticanje stepena, od strane

univerziteta na kome boravi, ukoliko ugovorom

između univerziteta nije uređeno izdavanje zajedničke

diplome, odnosno priznavanje stepena.

Student is entitled to spend during the study a certain

time (semester of a study year) at some other higher

education institution in the country or abroad through

international programs for studens exchange, or on

the basis of bilateral agreements between universities.

In accordance with the agreement concluded between

the student and the University, the number of gained

credits is recognized. The exchange of students does

not imply the issuance of a diploma or acquisition of

a degree from the referred university, unless otherwise

agreed between universities.

Član 26. Article 26 Zadatke u vezi s administrativnim i akademskim

aspektima ECTS-a (informisanje studenata, pomoć

kod pripreme dokumenata, pomoć kod uključivanja

gostujućih studenata u obrazovni program) obavljaju

ECTS koordinatori studijskih programa na

Univerzitetu.

The tasks referring to the administrative and academic

aspects of ECTS ( student data, assistance with

document preparation, and support in including guest

students in the educational program) is carried out by

the ECTS Coordinators of the departments at the

University.

Student koji je boravio na drugom univerzitetu može

da se vrati na studijski program Univerziteta koji je

započeo, a na njegov status primjenjuju se odredbe

ovih pravila.

A student who was at another university is allowed to

return to the study program of the University s/he

started, and his/her status is subject to the provisions

of these Rules.

Član 28. Article 28

(Mirovanje prava i obaveza studenta)

1) Prava i obaveze studenta miruju u

slučajevima utvrđenim zakonom, statutom

Univerziteta i ovim pravilima.

2) Samo u izuzetnim slučajevima Univerzitet

može na zahtjev studenta odobriti da mu iz opravdanih

razloga određeno vrijeme, a najduže godinu dana,

miruju prava i obaveze.

3) Pod opravdanim razlozima iz stava (2)

ovog člana podrazumijevaju se slučajevi:

a. trajanja teške bolesti zbog koje

student nije mogao pohađati nastavu i

polagati ispite;

b. trajanja porodiljskog odsustva;

c. i drugi slučajevi utvrđeni statutom ili

drugim općim aktom visokoškolske

ustanove.

4) Postojanje opravdanih razloga iz stava (3)

ovog člana student potvrđuje prezentiranjem dokaza

rukovodiocu organizacione jedinice, izdatih od

nadležne javne zdravstvene ili druge ustanove

relevantne za svaki konkretni slučaj.

5) Rukovodilac organizacione jedinice donosi

odluku po zahtjevu studenta iz stava (2) ovog člana,

zadržavajući pravo na provjeru opravdanosti razloga iz

stava (3) ovog člana.

6) Student kojem ne miruju prava i obaveze, a

koji ne upiše narednu odnosno ne obnovi upis u istu

studijsku godinu izjednačava se sa statusom studenta

koji se ispisao sa Univerziteta.

(Student’s rights and duties )

1) Student’s right and duties are on hold in

cases as provided for by the law, Statute of the

University and these Rules.

2) Only exceptionally, the University may, at

the request of student, approve that the student’s

rights and duties are put on hold for justified reasons

for some time and maximum of one year.

3) The justified reasons referred to paragraph

(2) of this Article imply the following events:

a. lasting of serious illness due to which the

student could not attend the courses and take

the exams;

b. maternity leave;

c. and other cases provided by the Statute

and other general acts of the higher education

institution.

4) The existence of justified reasons under

paragraph (3) of this Article are established by

presenting the evidence to the head of the department,

which are issued by the relevant public health or other

institutions for each particular event.

5) The head of the departmentmakes a

decision regarding the student’s application under

paragraph (2) of this Article, reserving the right to

check the justification of the reasons from the

paragraph (3) of this Article.

6) The student whose rights and duties are not

on hold, and who fail to enroll the next or,

respectively, repeat the registration in the same year,

equals the status of the student who has withdrawn

from the University.

– za vrijeme trudnoće studentkinje i do 1 godine

2) Izuzetno, zahtjev za mirovanje po osnovu

bolničkog liječenja ili trudnoće može se podnijeti u

toku studijske godine.

3) Rješenje po zahtjevu za mirovanje prava i

obaveza studenta donosi dekan organizacione jedinice.

(Application for hold and duties)

1) The application for hold rights and duties

is filed prior to the beginning of a hold and after

enrollment of a study year where this right is to be

used.

2) Exceptionally, the application for a hold

based on hospitalization or pregnancy may be lodged

during the study year.

3) The decision regarding the application for

student’s dormant rights and duties shall be made by

the Dean of the organizational unit.

Član 31. Article 31

(Prestanak studentskog statusa)

Status studenta prestaje:

a) okončanjem ciklusa studija;

b) ispisom;

c) isključenjem po postupku i uz uslove utvrđene

zakonom, statutom ili drugim odgovarajućim

aktom Univerziteta;

d) kada student ne okonča studij u roku

utvrđenom zakonom, statutom ili drugim

općim aktom Univerziteta;

e) u drugim slučajevima utvrđenim zakonom,

statutom ili drugim općim aktom Univerziteta.

(Cessation of student’s status)

The student’s status shall cease:

a) by completion of study cycle;

b) by withdrawal;

c) by exclusion through a procedure and under

the conditions provided for by the law, the

Statute or other relevant instrument of the

University;

d) when student does not complete the study within the time prescribed by the law, the

Statute or other general act of the University;

e) in other cases stipulated by the law, the Statute

or other general act of the University.

programu koji važi u studijskoj godini u

kojoj nastavlja studije.

the student was on hold, the student is entitled

to resume the study.

- Decision about the students re-entry application

is made by the Dean of the Faculty. - If the re-entry is approved, the student is

obliged to resume study according to the study

program valid in the re-entry study year.

IV VREDNOVANJE RADA STUDENATA IV EVALUATION OF STUDENTS’WORK

Član 33. Article 33

(Postupak provjere znanja i ocjenjivanja)

1) Rad studenta prati se i ocjenjuje

kontinuirano u toku semestra odnosno studijske

godine.

2) Provjera znanja se vrši dodjeljivanjem

bodova za svaki oblik aktivnosti i provjere znanja u

toku semestra, kao i na završnom ispitu, na kojem se

utvrđuje konačna ocjena.

3) U strukturi ukupnog broja bodova,

najmanje 50% bodova mora biti predviđeno za

aktivnosti i provjere znanja u toku semestra.

4) Završni ispit se, u strukturi ukupnog broja

bodova, može vrednovati sa najviše 50% bodova.

5) Ako student za predviđene aktivnosti i

provjere znanja tokom semestra osvoji broj bodova

koji zadovoljava kriterije za prolaznu ocjenu nije

obavezan izaći na završni ispit.

6) Univerzitet je obavezan u svakom semestru

organizirati nastavu "u učionici" za vanredne studente

i studente koji studiraju učenjem na daljinu, i to

najmanje prve, osme i petnaeste sedmice svakog

semestra, i o tome voditi urednu evidenciju.

7) Vanredni studenti i studenti koji studiraju

učenjem na daljinu obavezni su prisustvovati oblicima

provjere znanja kako je predviđeno izvedbenim

planovima nastave na Univerzitetu, koji se, po pravilu,

obavljaju u toku onih radnih sedmica u kojima se

organizira i nastava za ove studente.

8) Završni ispit kao i druge nastavne

aktivnosti dozvoljeno je realizirati samo u toku radnog

vremena utvrđenog u okviru radne sedmice i to u

vremenskom terminu od 08-20 sati.

(Evaluation procedures)

1) The work of the student is tracked and

continuously evaluated in the course of a semester or

study year.

2) Testing of knowledge is performed by

awarding grade points for every form of activity

during a semester, as well as at the final examination

when the final grade is determined.

3) The structure ofthe number of grade points

must encompass at least 50% of grade points relating

to the activities and testing of knowledge over the

course of a semester.

4) In the overall structure of the number of

grade points , the final exam may be rated with

maximum of 50% of the grade.

5) If a student, through activities and testing

of knowledge during semester, gains a number of

credits that satisfies the criteria for passing grade, s/he

is not obliged to take the final exam.

6) The University is bound to organize the

teaching of each semester in the “classroom” for part-

time students and distance learning students at least in

the first, eighth and fifteenth week in each semester

activities, shall be implemented only during the time

specified within a working week and within the time

of 08-20 hours.

1) Prisustvo na časovima predavanja i vježbi

je obavezno za sve studente.

2) Nastavnici i saradnici vode evidenciju

prisustva studenata na času, koju na kraju semestra

dostavljaju studentskoj službi.

1) Allstudents are bound to attend the hours

of lectures and exercises.

2) The teachers and associates keep record of

the students’ attendance and submit it to student

services at the end of the semester.

3) Evidencija iz stava 2. ovog člana vodi se na

jedinstven način za svaki nastavni predmet.

4) Studenti mogu pravdati izostanke

odgovarajućim opravdanjima, koja dostavljaju u

studentsku službu Univerziteta.

5) Studenti kojima se na osnovu evidencije iz

stava 2 ovog člana utvrdi izostanak u obimu od 30%

nastavnih sati predviđenih planom i programom za

pojedini predmet ne mogu pristupiti završnom ispitu i

obavezni su ponovo prisustvovati realizaciji nastave iz

istog predmeta.

6) Sudent koji ne ispuni obaveze predviđene

Statutom i ovim Pravilima ne može pristupiti ispitu.

3) The record under the paragraph (2) of this

Article is maintained in a unified manner for each

course.

4) The students may justify their absences

with a relevant certificate which is submitted to the

University Student Service.

5) The students whose absence is determined

by the record of the paragraph (2) to be 30% of the

teaching hours as provided for by curriculum of

individual courses, may not take the final examination

and are obliged to attend the same taught course again

.

6) The student who has not fulfilled the

requirements provided for by the Statute and these

Rules may not take the examination.

Ocjenjivanje Grading

Član 35. Article 35

1) Nakon završetka nastave i završnog ispita

nastavnik određuje ukupni broj osvojenih bodova i

formira konačnu ocjenu za svakog studenta.

2) Ukupan broj osvojenih bodova i završnu

ocjenu nastavnik unosi u zajednički spisak studenata i

dostavlja Studentskoj službi Univerziteta.

3) Ocjene koje je verifikovao šef odsjeka

upisuju se u evidencioni karton studenta.

4) Ocjenjivanje i vrednovanje vrši se u skladu

sa ECTS skalom ocjenama: A, B, C, D, E i F.

1) After the completion of teaching and the

final examination, the teacher establishes the total

number of grade points and forms the final grade for

each student.

2) The total number of gained credits and the

final grade is entered on the common list of students

and is submitted to the University Student Service.

3) The grades verified by the head of

department are entered into the student’s report card.

4) Grading and evaluation are done in

accordance with the ESCTS grading scale: A, B, C,

D, E and F.

(Vrednovanje znanja studenata)

Konačan uspjeh studenta nakon svih predviđenih

oblika provjere znanja, vrednuje se i ocjenjuje

sistemom uporedivim sa (E)CTS skalom ocjenjivanja kako slijedi:

a) 10 (A) - izuzetan uspjeh bez grešaka ili sa

neznatnim greškama, nosi 95-100 bodova;

b) 9 (B) - iznad prosjeka, sa ponekom

greškom, nosi 85-94 bodova;

c) 8 (C) - prosječan, sa primjetnim greškama,

nosi 75-84 bodova;

d) 7 (D) - općenito dobar, ali sa značajnijim

nedostacima, nosi 65-74 bodova;

e) 6 (E) - zadovoljava minimalne kriterije,

The final success of a student after all envisioned

forms of testing is evaluated and graded through the

system of comparison (EC)CTS with the scale of grading, as follows:

a) 10 (A) – outstanding performance without

errors or with minor errors, carries 95-100 points

b) 9 (B) – above average, with few errors,

carries 85-94 points

c) 8 (C) – average, with notable errors, carries

75-84 points

d) 7 (D) – generally good, but with

significant shortcomings, carries 65-74 points

e) 6 (E) – meets minimum criteria, carries 55-

Član 37. Article 37

(Oblici provjere znanja studenta)

1) Oblici provjere znanja studenta mogu biti

pismeni, usmeni i praktični.

2) Provjera znanja je u pravilu pismena i vrši

se putem testa ili pismenog rada.

3) Rezultati pismenog dijela ispita moraju biti

objavljeni u roku od pet dana od dana održavanja

ispita uz obavezno oglašavanje termina u kojem

student može izvršiti uvid u svoj rad.

4) Svi oblici provjere znanja su javni.

5) Pismeni ispitni radovi studenata se čuvaju

do kraja studijske godine.

6) Univerzitet je obavezan organizirati i

utvrditi termine polaganja ispita tako da student može

biti opterećen polaganjem najviše jednog ispita u

istom danu.

7) Predmetni nastavnik ne može vršiti

provjeru znanja na završnom ispitu u prisustvu samo

jednog studenta.

8) Vijeće organizacione jedinice je obavezno

posebnom odlukom utvrditi sve oblike provjere

znanja, kao i strukturu sa skalom bodovanja iz svakog

nastavnog predmeta.

9) Utvrđeni elementi vredovanja pojedinih

aktivnosti, odnosno propisanih oblika provjere znanja,

obavezno se provode kao jedinstvena cjelina.

(Forms of knowledge testing)

1) Forms of knowledge testing may be in

writing, oral and practical.

2) Testing of knowledge is, as a rule, by

writing and performed through a test or written

assignment.

3) Results of written part of the examination

must be made public within five days from the day of

holding the examination, with obligatory

announcement of the terms by which the student may

have insight into his/her work.

4) All forms of testing are public.

5) Student’s written exams are kept until the

end of the study year.

6) The university is bound to organize and

determine the terms of taking examinations so that a

student may not take more than one exam in the same

day.

7) Theteacher of the course may not perform

knowledge testing at the final examination in the

presence of only one student.

8) The department counsel is obliged to

determine by a specific decision all forms of testing,

as well as the structure of the points scale in each

course.

9) The specified evaluatorz elements of

individual activities or, respectively, pre-determined

forms of knowledge checking, are manditorily

conducted as a single whole.

Član 38. Article 38

1) Završni ispit u skladu sa nastavnim planom

i nastavnim programom se obavlja u toku posljednje

sedmice nastave ili u prvoj sedmici nakon završene

nastave.

2) Student koji ne položi završni ispit može

polagati popravni ispit iz predmeta koji nije položio na

kraju jednog semestra, odnosno studijske godine.

3) Između održavanja završnog i popravnog

minimalni broj bodova za prolaznu ocjenu, mora se

prijaviti za ponovno pohađanje nastave u narednoj

studijskoj godini.

1) Student koji nije zadovoljan postignutom

ocjenom na ispitu može, u roku od 24 sata nakon

saopćenja ocjene, pismeno tražiti da ispit ponovi pred

komisijom.

2) Zahtjev za ponavljanje ispita iz stava (1)

ovog člana mora biti obrazložen.

3) Dekan imenuje predsjednika i dva člana

ispitne komisije u roku od 24 sata od prijema zahtjeva

iz stava (1) ovog člana, ako ocijeni da je zahtjev

osnovan.

4) Predmetni nastavnik čijom ocjenom student

nije bio zadovoljan ne može biti predsjednik komisije,

a jedan član komisije mora biti iz drugog nastavnog

predmeta, ali iz iste ili srodne nastavne oblasti.

5) Dekan određuje termin polaganja ispita u

roku od tri dana od dana podnošenja osnovanog

zahtjeva studenta.

6) U slučaju zahtjeva iz stava (1) ovog člana,

pismeni ispit ili pismeni dio ispita neće se ponoviti

pred komisijom, već će postojeći ocijenjeni pismeni

rad komisija ponovno pregledati i ocijeniti, dok je

ponavljanje usmenog ispita ili usmenog dijela ispita

pred komisijom obavezno.

7) Prilikom utvrđivanja ocjene, komisija će

uzimati u obzir sve verificirane rezultate rada studenta

u toku nastave.

8) Kod prigovora studenta na ocjenu za

praktični ispit iz onog predmeta čije polaganje nije

moguće ponovno organizirati, komisija, imenovana od

writing a repletion of the examination before the

hours from the receipt of the request under paragraph

(1) of this Article, provided he has assessed that the

request has a basis.

4) The teacher of the course with whose grade

the student was not satisfied may not be the president

of the Commission, and one member must be another

course teacher, but from the same or similar teaching

field.

5) The Dean determines the terms of taking

theexamination within three days from the day of the

student’s submission of the request.

6) In case of the request under paragraph (1)

of this Article, the writing examination or a part of

writing examination will not be repeated before the

Commission, however, the Commission will re-

examine and evaluate the existing already evaluated

examination in writing, whereas the repetition of oral

examination, or a part thereof, shall be performed

before the Commission.

7) When determining the grade, the

Commission shall take into consideration all verified

11) Student može tražiti komisijski ispit

najviše dva puta u toku jedne studijske godine.

8) Referring the objection to the grade from

practical examination of the course of which taking

examination is not possible to organize again, the

Commission, appointed by the Dean, comprised of

teachers from the relevant field, will reexamine the

decision of the teacher who evaluated the

other forms of taking the examination, make a final

decision.

9) For the course under paragraph (8) of this

Article, the University or the department shall provide

audio/video record or another adequate

documentwhich proves the evaluation of knowledge.

10) The Commission’s decision is made by

majority votes and the same may be appealed to the

Dean within 24 hours from the announcement of the

Commission’s decision.

11) Student may request the Commission\s

examination for a maximum of twice over the course

of one study year.

Član 41. Article 41

(Zahtjev za ponavljanje ispita)

1) Student koji nije zadovoljan

postignutom ocjenom na ispitu, iz razloga koji se ne

mogu podvesti pod prethodni član, može, tokom

studija pismeno tražiti da ispit ponovi pred

predmetnim profesorom.

2) Zahtjev za ponavljanje ispita iz stava

(1) ovog člana mora biti obrazložen.

3) O zahtjevu iz stava 1. ovog člana

odlučuje dekan organizacione jedinice

(Request to repeat examination)

1) The student who is not satisfied with

the received points ar examination, for reasons that

cannot be listed under the preceding Article, may

request during the time of study to repeat the

examination before the professor.

2) The request for repetition of the

examination under paragraph (1) of this Article must

be explained.

3) The request under paragraph (1) of

this Article is decided by the Dean of the department.

Član 42. Article 42

1) U slučaju spriječenosti predmetnog

nastavnika da održi završni ispit, dekan, organizaciju i

održavanje završnog ispita povjerava drugom

nastavniku iz iste ili srodne oblasti, ili imenuje

komisiju.

2) Komisija ima najmanje tri člana.

Član 44. Article 44

(Prelazak u narednu studijsku godinu)

1) Student može prenijeti u narednu godinu

studija unutar jednog ciklusa studija najviše šest

(E)CTS studijskih bodova - kredita, ili najviše jedan

nepoloženi predmet, ukoliko on nosi više od šest

(E)CTS studijskih bodova-kredita, pod uslovom da

nepoloženi predmet koji se prenosi u narednu

studijsku godinu nije preduslov za slušanje drugog

predmeta u narednoj studijskoj godini.

2) Student koji obnavlja studijsku godinu

obavezan je ponovo prisustvovati realizaciji nastave iz

predmeta koje nije položio.

3) Studentu koji obnavlja studijsku godinu

organizaciona jedinica/Univerzitet može, unutar

jednog ciklusa u skladu sa svojim kapacitetima i

organizacionim mogućnostima, dozvoliti pohađanje

nastave i polaganje nastavnih predmeta iz naredne

studijske godine pod uslovom da ukupno opterećenje

studenata po semestru ne prelazi 30 (E)CTS studijskih

bodova- kredita, osim ako ovim Pravilima nije

drugačije predviđeno.

4) Predmeti iz stava (1) i (3) ovog člana

utvrđeni su nastavnim programom i pravilima

studiranja.

(Transfer to next study year)

1) A student may transfer to the next study

year, within one study cycle, maximum of six (E)CTS

points – credits, or maximum of one failed course, if

it carries more than six (E)CTS points-credits,

provided the failed course being transferred to the

next study year is not a prerequisite for attendance to

another course in the next study year.

2) A student who renews the academic year is

required to attend a repeatthe failed course .

3) A students who renews the academic year

may be allowed by the organizational unit /

University, within one cycle in accordance with their

capacities and organizational capabilities, to attend

the teaching and take courses from next study year

provided that the total student workload per semester

does not exceed 30 (E) CTS-credit points of study,

unless otherwise prescribed by these Rules.

4) The courses referred to in paragraph (1)

and (3) of this Article are determined by the

curriculum and Rules of Study.

V PRIPREMNA ŠKOLA ENGLESKOG JEZIKA V PREPARATORY SCHOOL OF ENGLISH

LANGUAGE

Na Univerzitetu se organizuje nastava Pripremne

škole engleskog jezika u trajanju od jedne godine,

odnosno dva semestra.

Preparatory School of English language over one year

or two semesters.

Cilj pripremne škole engleskog jezika je unaprijediti

znanje i vještine engleskog jezika studenata na razinu

na kojoj će moći pratiti nastavu na engleskom jeziku

1) Ukoliko se ukaže potreba Pripremnu školu

moguće je organizovati i iz drugog stranog jezika.

2) Odluku o Pripremnoj školi iz stava 1 ovog

člana donosi Upravni odbor na prijedlog Senata

Univerziteta.

Preparatory School for another foreign language.

VI ZAVRŠNI RAD (DIPLOMSKI RAD) VI THE FINAL WORK (DIPLOMA PAPERS)

Član 50. Article 50

1) Završni rad (diplomski rad) predstavlja

samostalnu stručnu obradu određenog problema.

2) Završnim (diplomskim) radom student

dokazuje da je na osnovu znanja stečenog tokom

studija ovladao zadanom temom, da je temu obradio

po predviđenoj metodologiji, da zna da koristi stručnu

literaturu i terminologiju, kao i da je ispravno navodi.

2) The final work (diploma papers)

demonstrates that the student, based on the

knowledge gained during the study, mastered a given

subject, that s/he dealt with the topic with the

envisaged methodology, that s/he is able to use

1) Tema završnog (diplomskog) rada bira se iz

obaveznih predmeta koje sadrži studijski program.

2) Moguće teme završnih (diplomskih) radova

predlažu predmetni nastavnici.

3) Izuzetno,studentu se može odobriti tema

završnog (diplomskog) rada koju samostalno predloži,

uz prethodnu konsultaciju sa nastavnikom kod kojeg

želi da uradi završni (diplomski) rad.

4) Uz svaku temu završnog (diplomskog) rada

approval of the first topic.

Član 54. Article 54

1) Završni (diplomski) rad student izrađuje

samostalno.

2) Nastavnik je obavezan da prati rad studenta,

pomaže mu savjetima i upućivanjem u literature.

2) The teacher is obliged to follow the

student, assist with advice, and refer the student to

literature.

Član 55. Article 55

1) Student formira završni (diplomski) rad u

konceptu sa svim pripadajućim dijelovima.

2) Koncept se predaje nastavniku na uvid i

pregled.

3) Student je dužan postupiti prema

uputstvima i primjedbama nastavnika, u protivnom rad

se vraća na dalju doradu.

4) Nastavnik je dužan da pregleda rad i vrati

ga sa komentarom najkasnije za tri nedjelje od dana

predaje rada.

Član 60. Article 60

1) Odbrana završnog (diplomskog) rada

sastoji se od usmenog izlaganja rezultata rada i

obrazloženja izdvojenih zaključaka, kao i odgovora na

pitanja komisije u vezi s rezultatima rada i

zaključcima.

2) Ako student ne zadovolji na odbrani

završnog (diplomskog) rada, ima pravo da zatraži da

mu se odobri izbor nove teme u okviru istog ili drugog

predmeta.

3) Završni (diplomski) rad i odbrana ocjenjuju

se jedinstvenom ocjenom od "izvrstan" (A) do

"nedovoljan" (F).

5) Ocjena se donosi većinom glasova članova

komisije.

1) The defense of the final (diploma) work

consists of an oral presentation of results and

explanations of abstract conclusions, as well as the

replies to the Commission’s questions regarding the

results and conclusions.

2) If a student fails the defense of the final

(diploma) work, s/he has the right to request the

selection of new topic to be approved within the same

or another course.

3) Final (diploma) work and defense are

evaluated with a single grade “extraordinary” (A) to

"fails" (F).

4) The grade is made by majority vote of the

Commission.

3) Diploma se uručuje na svečanoj promociji,

a može se izuzetno uručiti u drugim okolnostima.

2) The supplement to the diploma is signed

by the Dean.

3) The diploma is handed out at a special

ceremony, and can be exceptionally delivered in some

other circumstances.
