Pakistan was founded in 1947 and Pakistan International Airlines was founded in 1955. Flag carrier airlines of Pakistan is PIA and its all operation based in Karachi and also it’s the Sixteenth largest airlines in Asia.
PIA operation schedule services to 73 destinations through the Middle East Asia Europe and North America as well as domestic network 24 destinations. Main bases are in PIA Jinnah International Airport Karachi and the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore and the Islamabad International Airport
SECONDARY BASES AIR PORTPESHAWAR, FAISALABAD, QUETTA, AND MULTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WHICH ITS CONNECTS THE METROPOLITAN CITIES WITH THE MAIN BASE, FAR EAST AND THE MIDDLE EAST.
OWNED BY GOVT OF PAKISTANMINISTRY OF DEFENSE HOLDS (81.01%) OF THE SHARES AND THOUGHT BESOS (BENAZIR EMPLOYEES STOCK OPTION SCHEME) TRANSFERRED 12% OF ITS SHARE HOLDING TO EMPLOYEES. INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER 7.83 % AND OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS 1.2% HOLD PIA HAS 17,944 EMPLOYEES (IN 2009).

THINK THAT THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL BUT PRACTICALLY IT IS VICE VERSA LEARNING DISABLE DUE TO COMPANY THINKING THAT THEY ARE GREATER BUSINESS IN THE MARKET AND THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY STEP REGARDING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE THAT’S WHY DISABLE THEM FOR ANY NEW LEARNING
OUTCOMES:DUE TO INEFFICIENT RESOURCES AND BUDGET THE COMPANY HAS FACED SOME SERIOUS OUTCOMES LIKE OLD AIRCRAFTS AND LESS CUSTOMER’S SATISFACTION. AND INCREASE OF PRICE OF TICKETS THE CUSTOMER ATTRACTION TOWARD IS DECREASING THIS ALSO DUE TO LESS INNOVATION IN CUSTOMER SERVICES AND USING SOME OLD PARTS IN AIRCRAFTS.
ENVIRONMENT DISTURBANCE:THE BUDGET SET BY THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE PLANS OF PIA. THE EMPLOYEE’S COORDINATION IS TOO MUCH POOR. POOR MAINTAINED OF AIRCRAFTS AND FLIGHT SCHEDULE IS WAY OFF ACCORDING TO PLAN.
DECLINING PERFORMANCE:THEY ARE KEEP DECLINING IN TERM OF PERFORMANCE. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT SATISFIED EVEN THERE IS NO PROPER MANAGEMENT.
DO MORE AT THE SAME:THEY ARE CONSISTENTLY INVOLVING IN THESE TYPE OF ACTIVITIES. IT’S A CLEAR VIEW THAT THEY ARE IN SUCCESS TRAP THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY FOCUSING OF GETTING MORE PROFIT BUT ON OTHER SIDE THEY ARE IGNORING THE IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF ORGANIZATION WHICH CAN HELP THEM INCREASE IN TERM OF BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION EVEN MORE.
