DRUGS/ MEDICINES1/- Earnest Money: The earnest money of Rs 80,000/ (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only), in the

shape of CDR/FDR from any Nationalized bank/ Scheduled Bank (preferably J&K Bank Ltd)having validity not less than 12 months pledged to the Member Secretary, State LevelPurchase Committee, Animal Husbandry Department, J&K, Jammu (Accounts Officer,Directorate of Animal Husbandry Deptt, Jammu) should be enclosed with the documentswithout which the tender shall be rejected, incorrectly pledged CDRs (i.e. if not pledged toMember Secretary) will not be considered. No Cheque, Cash, Bank Draft will be accepted inany case as EMD. The CDR/Security Deposits of previous years if any, lying with the depart-ment will not be considered for this tender. The CDRs of un-successful tenderers shall bereleased in due course of time while the CDR's of successful tenderers will be retained tillsuccessful completion of Contract. Successful tenderers have to deposit additional securitymoney equal to 5% of the total value of the supply order in the shape of a CDR/FDR. In caseof failure to make the said deposit, an equivalent amount on this account shall be deductedfrom the running bills payable to firm and kept withheld in the shape of CDR, which shall bereleased on receipt of supply in full and satisfactory test reports. No interest will be paid bythe Department on such security amounts. The SSI Units of J&K State shall furnish the CDRas earnest money with the Tender Documents as per the latest Government Orders in vogueand ins respect of such items only where they are specially declared eligible.

2/- The tenders should be accompanied with the Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees OneThousand Only) and Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) in respect of SSI Units,favouring Member Secretary, State Level Purchase Committee, Animal HusbandryDepartment, J&K, Jammu.
