Everything in the Universe is composed of the five principles: Earth-matter, Water-liquidity, Fire-interaction, Air-movement and Space-subtleness. There is a verse in the Bhagavad Geeta (Ch. 3, V.14)

This verse means that Yadnya is a balanced Karma which brings fertile rain, the rain brings food and from food begins all life.

This verse from Charak Samhita states that the hidden, stubborn doshas in the body, un-approachable by any medicine can only be dealt with the subtle particles of dhoop and incense.

Incense sticks were developed to make the Dhoopan process easier. Pure charcoal powder is rolled on thin bamboo sticks, then dipped into an essential oil and (ittar) natural perfume solution of a desired fragrance. Santulan Chakra Incense Sticks are produced using various fragrance blends created for specific purposes.

The burning of incense sticks or special environmental smoke mixtures should be performed as a small Yadnya (Fire Ritual). Special blends, created for the incense sticks, work with various deities and energies. They are also very powerful air purifiers and useful in creating specific positive vibes and moods.

In the human body, the interacting centres of different energies are called chakras and through these cosmic doors, it is easy to communicate with the physical body and the consciousness.
