Kullu Dussehra Festival 2015 Guinness World Record Book
12 thousand womencoming together to dance
12 thousand women coming together to dance in their colourful
traditional attires, they are aiming to set a new Guinness World
Record.Kullu Dussehra Festival is an internationally renowned fair
celebrated during the month of October in Himachal Pradesh INDIA.
More than 4 lakh people from all around the world witness this fair
in the Dhalpur maidan of Kullu valley. The festivities begin on
"Vijaya Dashmi" and continues for seven days.The theme of this
year's festival is "Beti Hai Anmol", this is to done to promote the
notion of daughters being precious. The even also promotes the
fight against female infanticide.This year the festival will begin
on 22 October.
