Search for twitter or Go to www.twitter.com and click on Sign up for twitter

Write a description about you e.g. what are you interested in e.g. educational technology / teaching and learning / raising quality standards… Search other peoples profiles for inspiration

You can always come back to this step to edit your profile by gong to settings > profile

If you connect your account with Facebook, twitter will post all your tweets and to your facebook wall as well

Twitter displays the number of tweets, your followers and who is following you. Public profile – everyone can read your tweets and follow you Private profile Restricted view of your tweets and profile and you have to manually approve each person who wants to follow you

There are two ways to compose a tweet

Compose a tweet and check how many characters you have left. Click tweet to share this message
