Blackdog’s extensive experience of creating POS for Tesco meant our Christmas 2010 creative struck the right synergy between in store look and feel, and seasonal packaging. By March 2010 our style guide was in place for design agencies and printers around the world to follow.
After successfully delivering one of the largest seasonal event campaigns in the country, Blackdog was chosen to produce Tesco’s Christmas creative again in 2011.

As part of our strategy to increase visibility of Dixons’ exclusive brands, Blackdog is developing brand toolkits for the Logik, Sandstrom, Goji, Advent and Essentials ranges. Each toolkit contains ‘on brand’ visuals and guidelines to streamline all marketing communications, visual, promotional and packaging identities. We are also providing brand consultancy services to drive the development of new editorially driven microsites and social media.

Benefits Customer engagement with trial communications led to a seamless shopping experience in non-food
To promote the trial of their new high profile Order & Collect proposition, Tesco appointed Blackdog to create an integrated in store communications strategy. First, we conducted a customer journey assessment to identify appropriate touchpoints for advertising before proposing targeted multi-media messaging.
Advertising from POS to TV screens followed, explaining how to browse and purchase in store more easily using the new service. In addition the Blackdog’s 24/7 mobile studio was used on the shop floor to create, print and install last minute POS and signage right up to store opening time.
