A Quality-Focused Design, Development, and Manufacturing Process
VPT products are designed and produced at MIL-PRF-38534 certified, MIL-STD-883 lab suitable, and ISO9001 registered sites. VPT’s R&D headquarters are in Blacksburg, VA, manufacturing is at Delta Electronics, Inc. in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and sales and marketing facilities are in Everett, WA.

The DVHE Series of DC-DC converters can be used alone or in conjunction with the DVPL point of load converters as part of the High Efficiency, Reliability Optimized (HERO) Power System. The DVHE packs 50W in a standard hermetic case at 90% efficiency.
Save board space and cost by using a single DVHE to power multiple point of load devices instead of deploying multiple isolated DC-DC converters.

The DVPL is the world’s first point of load converter that is designed and built to military-grade reliability as defined in MIL-PRF-38534.
The new DVPL Series of DC-DC point of load converters can be used alone or in conjunction with the DVHE DC-DC converter as part of the High Efficiency, Reliability Optimized (HERO) Power System. The DVPL is a non-isolated, synchronous, buck regulated converter that steps down the voltage at the point of end use.

Thermal Pads
Thermal pads provide a low thermal resistance path, good thermal performance, and excellent isolation between the DC-DC converter and the mounting plane. They are intended to fill air gaps between DC-DC converters and printed circuit boards, heat sinks, or chasses without the use of thermal greases in order to improve heat conduction.
