October 7, 2019 Dear Limestone Parents and Guardians, You are cordially invited to our new and improved Parent-Teacher Conferences to be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. We believe discussing your students’ progress at this halfway point of the semester is valuable to their learning. School will dismiss at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday. Students will not be in attendance on Friday. This year we are again hosting a complimentary dinner (turkey & cheese or ham & cheese deli sandwich, garden salad, minestrone soup with garlic bread, chips and dip, dessert, and beverage) for family members who attend on Thursday, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and a complimentary continental breakfast (bagels, donuts, fruit and beverage) on Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Additionally, transportation to the conferences will be provided. If interested in complimentary shuttle service to the school on either Thursday or Friday, please call the Principals’ Office any week day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. by October 17, 2019. Each of our feeder grade schools is a tentative stop, depending on the needs of those who register. Once all have registered, we will send you specific pick-up and drop-off times for each stop. Registration for dinner or breakfast is not necessary. At conferences, we will distribute progress reports, and you will have the opportunity to meet with your student’s teachers. Keeping conferences to approximately five minutes gives every parent the opportunity to speak with all teachers. Limestone administrators and guidance counselors will also be available. Having these conversations allows us to work together to meet the needs of your student. We look forward to seeing you here on the 24th or 25th. We appreciate the effort it takes to attend, often after a busy day of working and transporting students to their various activities.
