Disability Networking and Support Group Families and Communities Embracing Support (FACES) Disability Networking & Support Group Join us the second Wednesday of the month from 11-1 p.m. The meetings are held at the Judge Black Annex at 315 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV. Lunch is always provided so RSVP to Shannon Hedrick at 304-485-2000 or to [email protected] is required.

When you look closely at those around you, it is apparent that everyone’s face is different. Upon a little closer look, however, it becomes apparent that many are struggling with similar concerns, issues, or experiences. It is only then that you realize there are great opportunities for supporting each other, whether through embracing and accepting an opinion, or through embracing through a hug or physical support.

Parents, siblings, guardians, caregivers, and other community members are invited to join this group, which will be held in a welcoming, supportive environment, and will provide information and resource awareness, program updates, educational components, and much-needed socialization on issues that impact the lives of those with disabilities and their unique needs and challenges. All are welcome
