Reneweable sources of energy in Poland started to develop fastly since joining the European Union.

Poland

Due to membership restrictions we had to improve this methods of gaining energy,For example, there is a special law, which says that energy from this sources has to be

at least 10 % of whole energy bought for one house

It does not mean that this kind of energy didn’t existed in our country before, but from the moment of joining the Union on is the time of the fastest development

of this sector.

The most popular renewable source of energy in Poland is water. Built on almost every bigger river, water tower stations give us nice amount of ecoological elctricity.

Another important way to make elcricity from „nothing” is to use the power of wind. It’s nothing unusual in the view of windmills any more.

But, althought renewable sources are without any doubts an important thing,non-renewable sources are still the main way of gaining the energy.

Using fossil fuells, mainly coal, thermal power plants produces several times more energy than all the windmills, water power points and solar batteries

taken together.

But althought we mainly use the fossil fuels, we don’t have any atomic power stationin whole country and after the Fukushima tragedy it doesn’t seem like we are going to have one.

The atomic energy is an example of radiation’s benefits ,but too much of it can badly affect our health.

It seems like cancer is one of it’s most dangerous effects. Leukemia can occur too, when too much radiation inflicts a body .

But we can’t forget about the good influence of radiation. The most common example is how useful the X-rays are.

Also, although too much of it can cause a cancer, a small amount can become a good cure for this sickness

Some independent experiments proved, that when isolated from any radiation, living organisms dies.

Radiation has it good and bad sides. Just as everything. So will you see a mushroom cloud,

It depends on you.
