A special competition for budding Editor at Bhartiyam

Make your own newspaper minimum of 4 pages with the title of your choice.

Instruction to be followed:

1. Make use of A-3 sheets for making newspaper.

2. Make sure that the name of the newspaper should not be copies from anywhere, it

should be self made.

3. Handmade pictures or cuttings can be used anywhere in the newspaper.

4. The colour choice should be decent and attractive.

5. Font size:

Heading should be written in bold and there font size of heading should be

different from text.

6. The newspaper should include following sections : Sports, Literature, International

news, National news, Business/finance/economy, Politics, Weather, Classified ads,

Entertainment/comics/crossword puzzle/horoscope, Arts, culture, literature,

Tourism/travel tips, Computers, Automobiles, Style/fashion, Cooking/cuisine,

Health/medicine, Magazines and other supplements, Science Technology.

1. Collect information on any two earthquakes that occurred recently in India or

its neighboring countries.

Include the following points:

a. Intensity of the Earthquake on Richter scale.

b. Destruction caused.

c. Impact of the Earthquake on the life of survivors.

2. Observe the Night sky for minimum five days during your vacations and make a

project report including Phase of Moon, Position of various Stars and

Planets, and any other extraordinary object observed in the Night Sky.

Mention the date and time of your observation for each recording.

Record observation for each day separately on one sheet.

3. Write the number of prominent stars in the following constellations:

c. Cassiopeia
