Only atLEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM – Many campers learn to swim at Willoway – in our

two teaching pools, designed for children, our American Red Cross based swim program fostersthe development and acquisition of new swimming skills, while our free swim program offerstime to reinforce newly learned techniques. Simply put, we teach swimming best!

CAMPERS’ CHOICE – regular opportunities for campers to choose an activity of theirown special interest – to help create their own choice experience.

SELECTIVES – Fifth graders and above will have the opportunity to explore a sport, craft or

hobby in depth on a weekly rotating basis.

OVERNIGHTS – optional Thursday night overnights offer campers a great experience -- fromspecial all camp activity to cookout and campfire, Willoway overnights are a blast.

LUNCH – Campers may bring their lunch which is refrigerated or may choose the catered lunchoption on a weekly basis. Juice is provided for all campers as is a milk and cookies afternoonsnack. Typical catered meals include chicken strips, pizza, breadsticks and fruit. All campersparticipate in our weekly Friday cookout.

LAKE PROGRAM – Willoway is proud of its longstanding lake program on our WalledLake site. Campers with Red Cross swimming skills are able to participate in such activities aswater skiing, tubing and torpedoing. All campers use the pontoon boats on a regular basis.

CHALLENGE COURSE – An adventure-challenge course involving teams of campers ina series of non-competitive activities to build trust, support, self-confidence and commitmentutilizing initiatives and a climbing wall.

TransportationThe camp day begins and ends on our Willoway buses and vans. A safe and fun ride is in store forour campers aboard our own Willoway vehicles staffed by professional drivers and vehicle counselors.Games, singing, spirit and fun are the watchwords—and campers look forward to the ride.

From our “state of the art” swimming pools, built especially for children, to our pond & lake site,animal farm, nature trail, low ropes-initiative challenge course, “ga-ga-ga” courts, athletic fields,tennis courts, go-kart track, miniature golf courses, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, archeryrange and more, “Willoway” is the place to be.

Indoor facilities complement our comprehensive outdoor campus and include arts and crafts,photography, gym, climbing wall, dining hall, multi-purpose arena, indoor sports and activityareas, performing arts facilities, photography labs, along with lots of places to discover, exploreand have fun.

Experience MattersWilloway continues to be directed by its senior staff, Arnie and LorraineFisher, Jonathon Koenigsberg and Jason Rosen. As a leadership team, theycombine years of practical experience with a youthful outlook and freshperspectives in the guidance and direction of Willoway.

Camp staff is selected for warmth, maturity, ability and enthusiasm. Our staffis comprised of college students, including international staff members whooffer a rich cultural and educational diversity to Willoway. Extensive pre-camp workshops are held each summer to fully acquaint staff withWilloway’s philosophy and our concern for our campers’ growth.Throughout the summer, in-service training assures the on-goingdevelopment of our counseling team.

Everyday is an AdventureWilloway’s activity program encourages campers to discover what they love to do! Weekly schedulesprovide lots of opportunities to try out new activities and experience the joy of accomplishment.

With an emphasis on non-competitive summer “fun”, the Willoway Experience gives your childthe ingredients for new dimensions of personal growth and creativity with the finest facilities.

Children participate in a range of sports, art and aquatics activities that are taught by a diverse staffof teachers and specialists. With the aid of expert instructors, and based on American Red CrossSwim curriculum, non-swimmers develop skills and confidence, while campers with skills becomeeven better swimmers.

Many campers who have never played baseball or other games learn at Willoway. Our grounds areequipped for baseball, volleyball, golf, archery, gymnastics, track, basketball, field hockey, soccer,sand volleyball, tennis, go-carting, trust & challenge activities, climbing wall and more!

The camp pond with fishing, paddleboating, paddlewheeling, and canoeing are ever-popularactivities. Children who like to catch turtles and frogs will find them near our pond and on ournature trails. Pony riding and the Animal Farm, with its lambs, goats, rabbitsand more, are often popular activities.

Creative imaginations soar as campers enjoy dramatics, dance, rocketry,arts & crafts, ceramics, chemistry, digital photography and fencing.

The entire camp comes together for special events like our July 4thcelebration, Willoway’s Annual Carnival, and for Olympic Day.Optional Thursday overnights, weekly cookouts and all-camp showsadd excitement and build tradition.

Woven into everyday camp life are opportunities to build lifelongfriendships, develop problem solving skills, independence and self esteem,all within a premier camp environment, a special place we call Willoway.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS — PLEASE READ AND SIGN In addition to the terms and conditions contained in “The Parents Guide to Willoway”, which will accompany enrollment confirmation, on behalf of my minor child/ren I consent to and agree to familiarize myself with all of the policies and communications provided by Willoway and further accept and acknowledge that:

A $200 deposit per camper is due upon registration. Full payment is due by June 1, 2012. I further understand that in order to be considered for Early Payment Credit (complimentary overnight for 4+ week campers) that full payment must be received by April 1, 2012. I agree to pay a service charge on all balances past due after June 1 equal to the lesser of 1.5% per month (18% Annual Percentage Rate) or the maximum allowed by law and further agree to pay all costs of collection incurred by Willoway Summer Day Camp Inc., including reasonable attorney’s fees.

There are no deductions from the camp fee for missed camper days. There will be no camp on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. As a courtesy, Session 2a and 2b campers will receive a certificate for a complimentary overnight.

I give permission for my camper entering 5-9th grades to participate in Explorer and LIT day trips.

Cancellations received more than 3 weeks prior to session will be subject to a $100 fee. Cancellations received after this time are subject to a $200 fee. All cancellations must be in writing.

Optional Thursday Overnights: $45/week. Permission slips will be sent weekly or may be found in the Forms section of www.willowaydaycamp.com.

I acknowledge that fuel is a commodity of which cost cannot be predicted far in advance of the camp season and agree that should Willoway’s Camp Director deem it necessary, Willoway may assess a fuel surcharge not to exceed $2.00 per camp day per camper family.

Willoway Summer Day Camp, Inc. (“Willoway” or “Camp”) has my permission to secure emergency medical treatment for the above named child, if required, when the parents and/or emergency contacts cannot be reached. I give permission for my child to take part in all activities and enclose a $200 deposit.

I understand that part of the camping experience involves outdoor activities and group interactions, and come with uncertainties beyond what my child may be used to dealing with. I am aware of these risks, and I am assuming them on behalf of my child. I realize that no environment is risk-free, and so I have instructed my child on the importance of abiding by the camp’s rules, and my child and I both agree that he or she is familiar with these rules and will obey them. I understand that the Camp reserves the unrestricted right to dismiss from Camp any child whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Director, is unsatisfactory or who appears unlikely to benefit from the program. I further agree to allow my child to be used in any promotional photography (newsletter, brochure, video, website, etc.). Tuition and fees are agreed to be the reasonable amount as and for liquidated damages. If, for any reason, the program does not operate, I agree that my sole remedy is the pro-rata refund of my child’s tuition. I agree that any dispute con-cerning, relating, or referring to this contract, any representation concerning my child’s camping experience, or the camping experience itself shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Michigan, according to the then existing commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association and the substantive laws of the state of Michigan. In the event that this Agreement is executed by one parent, undersigned acknowledges that s/he is also acting as agent of the other parent with authority to enroll the child at camp and to execute this Agreement on his or her behalf. This contract is not valid unless signed by the parent or guardian of the camper enrolled and accepted by Willoway Day Camp and its Camp Director.
