Why Lion has a roar

Far far away in the land of Tinga Tinga , there was a lonely, baby lion cub with a whisper of a voice, who lived in the African planes. All together, all of the animals lived on the grass land, including: Elephant, Tickbird, Monkey and Tortoise. While the heat rose on the grassland, the animals were sun bathing.

All except Lion who was terribly shy and had no roar! Because of his squeaky voice whenever he tried joining the other animals' conversations he would fail. One day Lion overheard Elephant and Rhino complaining that they have had loads of problems in the past few days, "Were is my horn," Groaned Rhino, "Were is my water to cool down," Announced Elephant.

Today was the great cave day; all the animals would go and get rewarded but not Lion. Lion-who was scared and frightened- wherever he was he was always two scared but today he wanted to go with all of his friends. He woke up full of courage.

They were there! All gathered up Elephant went in . . . He got bigger ears than ever before! One by one, every animal got great gifts, Lion (who wished for a roar) nervously approached the cave.

He was in.. . But all Lion ever wished for was to help the other animals for their problems! He spotted something that was in the corner of the cave - it was a fruit! Lion's mind raced, "Should I eat this?", whispered Lion and he ate a whole chunk and hurried out leaving the left overs.

"I know where your water is, Elephant! "I know where your horn is, Rhino!" Roared Lion," Over at the waterfall."That's how Lion got a roar," chuckled Tortoise.
