When were we founded?

Our goals
1. Training people in CPR and to use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Training in CPR and using the AED
• Thanks to Joe Dowling from the Irish Heart Foundation we now have over 100 people trained
Even Santa was trained in!!

2. To provide accessible AEDs in public places in the area
Thanks to local contributions we now have 3 AEDs which are located in:
1. The Powerscourt Arms Hotel
2.Keegan’s Farm Shop
3.Curtlestown School

3. To train people in as First Responders
First Responders
•First Responders are trained locals who can arrive on the scene quickly and respond to cardiac and stroke issues while an ambulance is on the way
Training the First Responders
• In early April nine locals completed a two day training course to become First Responders
A Vital Service• The Wicklow Cardiac First Response (WWCFR) has already had over 2,500 call outs since they were first established in 2004•We will be working with the WWCFR

What’s the fundraising for?
• Training equipment•Mannequins•Kit bags for First Responders•AEDs and heated cabinets to house them
