Creating Memories Worth Repeating®On Friday, Aug. 21 the Daredevil Falls team discovered a new way their ride can be part of Creating Memories Worth

Repeating® for Dollywood Guests. Dollywood Hosts greeted and loaded Mark, Amy and Amy’s daughter into Daredevil Falls for the usual fun experience. While they were out on their ride, Mark proposed to Amy. She accepted the proposal before the boat returned to the dock. When they arrived at the dock, Amy told our Daredevil unloader, Karen Walker, “He asked me to marry him out on your ride and I said yes!” The Daredevil Falls crew believes it is an honor that these Guests chose their ride for this special occasion. They were proud to celebrate this lasting memory with these Guests!

SAFE Y MattersSafe Disposal of Contaminated Items

To protect yourself and others from the spread of infection, it is extremely important to properly dispose of medical waste and other contaminated items, including broken glass. This requires the proper tools and, sometimes, special procedures.

Never directly touch any items, such as clothing or glass, which contain blood. Use tongs or a broom and dustpan. Use your hands ONLY if you are wearing protective gloves. If you find yourself in this circumstance and you don’t have the proper equipment, please contact Central Dispatch at ext. 9463 immediately to report the item(s) and location.

A representative from Safety must collect any medical waste items, such as syringes. Please contact Central Dispatch to report these. The Safety team is trained in the proper procedures for collecting and disposing the items. In addition to the risk of harming yourself, placing medical waste in a trash can or dumpster poses a threat to others who could come in contact with the items. Please let Safety handle them!
