Ways to communicate:

• School day begins at 8:25

• Students should arrive daily and meet their teacher in the hallway outside our room.

• Please be sure your child has his or her bookbag each day.

Car Riders

• meet parents in the cafeteria

Bus Riders

• dismissed from the gym

• walked to buses by a teacher

Bus Tags – first 2 weeks

• note a weekly schedule on back

• bus number

Send a note for ALL changes

Last minute changes

• call the office before 2:45

Any changes to dismissal must be put in writing and sent to school in your child’s blue folder or to

me via email. Without the appropriate documentation, your child will be dismissed using his

or her normal schedule.

Snacks are provided to students twice daily.

-Morning (around 10:00)

-- Afternoon (around 2:00)

Please return your child’s $30 snack fee in the envelope enclosed.

If your child has a food allergy that we should be award of, please be sure to notify us immediately.

Lunch is offered daily by:

Milford Nutrition Services

Please take a moment prior to the start of the school year to discuss proper nutrition and

lunch room behavior with your child.

Send in all lunch money on or before the day your child buys.

Please send your child’s lunch money in a sealed envelope or

bag with your child’s name should be clearly labeled.

Due to allergies in our school, all birthday treats will need to be store bought and pre-packaged. Please read the package carefully to ensure there are no allergy risks. No homemade items are permitted.

Send original packaging whenever possible.

Each year we have a partnership

with our 4th graders to foster

cooperative learning through

activities and projects.

Gym in on Tuesdays.

Each student will need a t-shirt with his or her name on FRONT & BACK.

Color System

1. Warning – green

2.Second Warning – yellow

3.Third Warning – red

A sticker is earned for each day a student stays on green.

Rewards:

Treasure box is earned for every 5 stickers/greens

Any and all donations of small items are greatly appreciated!
