CALCULATING YOUR G.P.A.
Use the following guideline to determine your GPA that many colleges will use. This is especially true for the UC and CSU systems.
Find your 10-12 weighted and unweighted GPA
Split the difference between the two GPA’s.
Example:
Weighted: 3.60
Unweighted: 3.00
Calculated GPA for colleges = 3.30
GPA is based on A-G courses from sophomore and junior years.
Admission is based on A-G courses from all four years, including senior year.
