WEEK 7 BILL HYBELS: “THE CHAIR” (2014) We often find ourselves pressured by time. When we realize that time is something we need to master, not something to be mastered by, scheduling it becomes an act of deciding who we become more than what we do. Still, a tidy schedule doesn't guarantee personal growth. If we don't allow time for daily interaction with God—if we don't find our "chair" where we can hear from him—we won't see change in ourselves or those we influence. What challenges do you have with your weekly schedule? Think about one thing you want to spend more time on - family, friends or a skill. What space can you make for this in your schedule today? Looking at your weekly schedule, would you say that it supports the development of the person you want to become? What minor changes could you make to your schedule to help grow into that person? When speaking about spending time with God, Hybels says '15 minutes a day in a chair, can change your life'. What are your experiences with this? Have you got a proverbial "chair" - that place that you spend time alone with God? Tell us more.

BILL HYBELS: “THE CHAIR” (2014)

We often find ourselves pressured by time.
