We have such a lot to fit in amongst the 5 weeks including end of year assessments. We have had very few people send in their children’s names to show this is being read so we were wondering how we could get information to all of you in the best way. You can let us know through Remind. regards, Tracy. There will be No parade in Week 7 (18/11/19) due to swimming. Have you taken time off work so you can come and see our amazing Wonga’s Got Talent Show on Monday 9th December?? It is always a great time. Don’t forget to order you dinner for the Concert night so you can sit back and relax and enjoy the show. Booklists are ready to be sent home and will go home with the report cards on Friday 6 th December. There will be 4 classes once again next year and the staffing will remain the same. Please let us know if your child is not coming back in 2020 so we can finalise classes. Attendance is important all of the way until the end of term unless your child is sick. If your child is in the younger grades and is getting hot and a little weepy, still send them along because they stop crying before you reach the gate. There is currently gastro, vomiting and the flu around so keep them home if they are sick. Remember they can’t come back to school for 24 hours after they stop vomiting. Year 6 student’s parents: You can spend the day with your child on the Quicksilver at a discounted price. It is an amazing day and we are all so grateful to Quicksilver for letting our students have a free excursion. Go along and join the fun. I know Mr Bilney and Mrs Reynolds are looking forward to it. Year 1/2 Persuasive Writing

The year 1/2 class have been learning how to write persuasive texts – writing to convince the reader to agree with our opinions and ideas. This week Mrs Reynolds asked us to write a persuasive text as if WE were running for Student Leadership positions at

the end of the year. Year 5 students better look out – these Year 1/2s are after your jobs!!!

If I were a Student Leader

I think I would DEFINITELY make a great student leader.

Firstly I will be kind and respectful to all students, so that other students can see how to be kind and respectful.

Another reason is that I will buy more trucks for the Creb Track and sand pits to make kids happier.

Finally I will run more discos so students are happier and can have fun.

So it is clear that I WILL be a great student leader. Vote for me NOW!!!

(Tyler S)

If I were a Student Leader

I think I would be a good student leader.

Firstly I would put more play equipment up so people can play more.

Another reason is that people can come to me because I am kind.

Finally I will put more sand into the sandpits so the little people can play more.

So it is obvious that I would definitely be a great student leader. So vote for me first. (Cash)

If I were a Student Leader

I think I would DEFINATELY make a great student leader.

Firstly I would be respectful and responsible to everyone so that I am a great role model.

Another reason is I will be kind to everyone so they don’t feel sad.

Finally I will have fun maze days to people can have fun.

So it is obvious that I would definitely be a great student leader. VOTE FOR ME NOW! (Maya)
