MONDAY 17th OCTOBER

We, the Spanish team came earlier so we went to have the typical English brunch after we all

had woken up. It was delicious and I finished so full that I hardly ate the rest of the day! In the

afternoon we visited Christchurch and discovered its beautiful cathedral and port.

THUESDAY 18th OCTOBER

It was our first day at Avournbourne College. The way to there was very cold but it became less tough because I’ve spent the whole way talking to people. Then, the executive teacher welcomed us and we started the guided visit through the facilities of the college; they were incredible. The thing that shocked me the most was the wide range of club that there were.

After lunch we went to the center of the city, Bournemouth, because we had to complete a “finding places” quiz. I’ve been there two years ago an the happy memories returned to me.

In the free time the Spanish boys, Paco and the Hungarian Julia and me went to the acuarium near the beach. We had fun watching the marine creatures in there!

Second day and it was the day when we had to present our work done during these months. I must say that all teams had done a good job, they were very original. I had fun showing you guys our work and hope you liked it!

Lunch time we went to the famous fish and chips Harry Ramsdens. The dish was delicious as I remebered.

After that we visited Russell Cotes house museum. I was impressed. Everything there had million of details. And, how could that man transporta ll those exotic things back to England?

When we went back to Avonbourne College they gave us the English tea with the typical sweets and cakes by the electronic fire hahaha.

And finally we assited to a First World War called “Man in the Mud” in Harewood College. The acting of those teens was incredible. Congratulations to them!

The last day of the Project… I couldn’t believe it. The week had passed so fast… plus that day was when all students became more confindent between us. It was very sad.

In the morning we went by bus to visit the town of Salisbury. Its cathedral was enormous moreover, I couldn’t stop to look around in the inside with my eyes wide. After that we went to Stonehenge and it was incredibly cold and windy so we were afraid because we thought that we had to go all the way walking to the stones; luckily that wasn’t the case. The first look at it was impressive as well but because of the perimeter I couldn’t be able of appreciate the huge height.

Now in the hotel we dressed nicely because the next event was the farewell dinner at a elegant Victorian style hotel. We had fun breaking the crackers and telling the horror stories that we had written the Thuesday morning. Next we received our certificates and took a lot of photos with the Halloween props, we laughed a lot.
