SYNOPSIS

Leftovers is a short film which looks at a woman artist who lives in the country but also has

lost something in the city. She is alone but is still searching and creating. The film tries to

capture the emotional state of a middle-aged artist who is on the edge in terms of youth and

age, city and country, depressed and happy. She is alone but is still searching and

creating. The film also has a documentary feel but the character is fiction and the film builds

up a picture of who she is through her journey and art.

DIRECTORS BIO

Ezgi Bayram is currently a student on the Ma Filmmaking course at University of East

London and she graduated from Istanbul Halic University in Ba Theatre study. She has made

several short films including, Abandoned, Absurdities, Freewomen of Fordwich, Covered.

Abandoned was shown at East End Film Festival in 2017. She is currently based in London
