CIVILIZATION MAP PROJECT In a group, create your very own ancient civilization! Now that you’ve learned all about geography and the features of civilization, it’s time to put your expertise to the test! Task: 1. Create a civilization map! Location: when designing your civilization map, consider the physical features needed for protection, food supply, access to trade or water, etc. You may choose a real location in the world, alter one to suit your needs, or create a new one of your own! Features: after designing the physical geography of your civilization map, consider what features you will need to help your civilization sustain itself and continue to develop. Arts & culture : (e.g. statue, museum) Commerce : (e.g. market, trade routes) Government & social structure : (e.g. town square, city hall, workplaces) Knowledge transfer & technology : (e.g. schools, workshops, media) Living/ working space (e.g. houses & farms) Public works : (e.g. roads, bridges, arena) Religion : (e.g. temple) *Your map should be fully coloured, neatly labeled, and easy to understand. to include them and design and place them how you did Connection : explain how your civilization is similar or different than examples we’ve

studied

Tips: Use point-form to write information on slides (AVOID LARGE PARAGRAPHS) Each slide should include a picture Proofread for spelling, punctuation & grammar errors Each group member must equally share the presenting of the project

DUE:
