Paul Inman Lakeland, Florida (863) 853-2627 It’s been 50 years and high school is a blur in my memory. I really had only three priorities in high school. My primary focus was to date Brenda, second was to make enough money flipping burgers to afford to date Brenda, and finally to get accepted to some college. The highlight of my senior year was meeting Brenda every day around 2 PM at the soda machine near Ron Fanon’s physics class. We were married young in September, 1968. After graduation from Appalachian State, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. I absolutely enjoyed my 29 years in the Army. We lived in the US, Germany and Korea. After 2 kids, 2 grandchildren, lots of travel and 1 Persian Gulf War, I retired as a grumpy old Colonel in 2001. From 2001 until final retirement in 2015, I worked for myself as a business consultant with several large defense contractors as clients. Retirement in Florida has been great. I have enjoyed golf, fishing, duplicate bridge, my antique 1954 Ford and lots of friends. My only major mistake was a boat. I sold that money pit this year. I have one major accomplishment. On September 13, Brenda and I celebrate our 50 th Wedding Anniversary. It took one hell of a woman to put up with me that long. I am looking forward to seeing old friends, but I must return to Florida immediately after the reunion since I do not own a snow shovel.
