Christmas in Japan

[In London: Christmas Eve....]

Battersea Park

Hiro: Ha-ha, missed

(He picks up some snow) (He touches the snow and

the ball becomes bigger)

Edward: Ahh! No fair, you cheated, Right!!

(He dives into the snow)

James: Damn you were supposed to get hit

Takeshi: Ha-ha

(Takeshi hums the metal gear solid theme) (He rolls

in the snow)

Takuma: This Christmas is set to be a good one

James: For once I think it will, no problems can just

serve at mass and enjoy Christmas

(Takuma puts snow down Jamess back)

Jet: You got owned James

James: Well see about owned shall we?

(Snow falls on Jet)

Jet: Do you think that is supposed to get me

Aaron: Incoming

(Snowball hits Hiro) Hiro: You bastard!!

James: This seems hard to believe, just some normality in life, Just being able to have fun

Aaron: Well cuz, it is Christmas enjoy it mate

(He looks up at the clear sun kissed sky)

James: (Whispers) I miss you Isabella

Hiro: Being in hiding, its like being back to normal

Emma: We have to stop the black star gang at some point

Anthony: Emma, its Christmas, Relax

(Edward walks towards her in the snow)

Edward: Look at the families over there (She turns her head to the right)

(Children throw snowballs at their parents) (Mum and Dad run for cover)

Emma: They look so happy

Edward: We have a better life now, no stress, on superhero business, the world got on before us and

the world can get on without out

(Emma smiles)

James: Home!!!! Mum called me and said Christmas dinner is ready

Fujiwara: But its Christmas Eve!

James: There is space for 11, (He waves his hand) COME ON GUYS, SHAKE A LEG!!

Takuma: It will only take 5 minutes to get there

James: Make that 10 seen as there is snow

[10 minutes later....] In Battersea

Takuma: We are nearly

there!

James: Look how its nearly

dark in that space of time

Takuma: Weve been walking

for 10 minutes

James: Epic skill, as I said, 10

minutes, didnt I say so

Emma: Whatever has

happened to Sako?

Takuma: That is a shame;

Hes obviously indefinitely

devoted himself to the Gobi Expedition

Aaron: I do check on him, now and again, But for a few months now, nothing

Edward: Did we think this superhero malarkey, would stop so soon

James: At least we are all doing something, were all at university

(He turns the key in his front door) (Door opens)

Mum: Put your coats on the coat rack and sit at the table

Dad: Where are you guys spending Christmas?

Hiro: Well be flying back to Tokyo this evening

Edward: Or?

Mum: You could spend it hear

Hiro: ah

Mum: Hiro, as your godmother Im sure that your mum and dad would not mind you spending it

with us

Edward: Youre practically family!

Emma: Im gonna go to Aarons house with him this evening

Aaron: Mums already expecting us

Mum: Enough of this talk lets eat

Jetisuma: That smells mint

(Mum smiles)

[Later after dinner.....]

Hiro: Well thanks for the dinner, but we best be going

Natasha: Im going home with Takuma

Anthony: Oh yeah, Im going to Aunty Yamamotos spending Christmas with Emma

Hiro: Ok, Well to all who are staying, I wish you a merry Christmas

Mum: The offer still stands see how you feel tomorrow

(Hiro nods) Dad: Next thing you know, shell be calling your parents

Hiro: Well for the time being its Christmas In Japan

Jet: Well, Same going to my mums

Fujiwara: Im going back to Shakujii

Mum: Well take care and safe flying

Fujiwara: Thanks

[Outside....]

Hiro: It looks the same as it was before

Jetisuma: Bit worried for you Hiro

Fujiwara: Cant be spending Christmas

alone

Hiro: Ill be fine

Jetisuma: Well I guess this is where we

say goodbye

Hiro: Maybe ill see you again sometime

Fujiwara: Yeah, DefinitelyJetisuma: Until then take care

(He runs in the snow and Jumps up) (He rises into the sky)

Jetisuma: I think doubting Sako, still eats him up

Fujiwara: You can see it in him

[In the sky over London...]

Bit worried for

you Hiro Cant

be spending

Christmas alone

Im gonna go to

Aarons house

with him this

evening Hiro, as

your godmother

Im sure that your

mum and dad

would not mind

you spending it

with us Youre

practically family

Hiro: I am alone, what does that say about me?

Conscience: You should go back, Its better than being in Tokyo alone

Hiro: Then that will show Im alone

Conscience: They are your family

Hiro: Extended family and why should listen to you, youre just a conscience

(He flies away into the distance)

*In Jamess House...+

Mum: Why was Hiro, So insistent on being alone

Edward: Aunty, I dont know, A lot of unrequited guilt is in that boy

Mum: But that is done and dusted

James: Mum, We cant force Hiro, to stay he left by his own hand

Mum: Its Christmas he should not be left alone

Takeshi: Well all I can say is Christmas in Japan will be very lonely for one Hiro Chen

(He frowns)

(Hiro opens his bedroom curtains)

Hiro: Well, Merry Christmas to all

(He switches on his television)

EURGH! Buzzer Beat, NO!!!

(He switches the TV channel)

Buzzer beat this early... ah Ouran

High School Host Club, thats

better, only by a thread,

Bit worried for you Hiro Cant

be spending Christmas alone

Hiro, as your godmother Im sure

that your mum and dad would not

mind you spending it with us

Youre practically family

Conscience: its only your pride Hiro

that is stopping from going

Hiro: Be quiet, shut up !!

(He gets up from his sofa)

[15 minutes later ...]

Hiro: I hope Im making the right decision

Conscience: You are, trust me

(He opens his front door and walks out) (door shuts behind him)

*In Jamess House, London, England ...]

Mum: Well, I think its time I called Hiros apartment

Dad: Olivia, Give it a rest

Mum: Kevin, Look, Im not having Hiro spend Christmas day by himself

James In the distance: I dont think he will

(Doorbell Rings)

Mum: Who might that be?

(Warren and Nicola walk down the stairs)

Warren: Who is that?

Natsuki: Well well see wont we?

(She walks to the door and opens it)

Warren: Hiro

Natasha: Come on, Its cold outside

Hiro: Oh, Ok

(He walks into the sitting room)

Mum: Well thats more like it, I was about to call your flat and demand you come down for

Christmas dinner, and it doesnt stop there, dont even think you are leaving this evening young

man, we have enough space for you stay here a few days minimum seen as you brought a bag

Hiro: Aunty I know you well enough to realise that Im not leaving here this evening

Warren: Good stuff

Hiro: Ill put my bag upstairs shall I?

Warren: Here, you can put it in my room

Hiro: Thanks

(They walk to the stairs)

Warren: How things in the weather team go.... (His voice fades away)

Natsuki: Well mum seems you plan has gone exactly how you wanted to

Mum: lets get back to the Kitchen shall we girls?

(Nicola, Natasha and Natsuki follow mum back into the kitchen)

(A snow ball fits the window) James: What the?

(He spots Anthony, Aaron, Takeshi, Takuma and Kazuki outside)

James: Snowball fight

(Rapid footsteps heard on the stairs)

Warren: Did I hear snow fight?

Dad: Youre on

Hiro: Someone is gonna get owned

(All the boys run outside)

(Cold air flows into the house)

Mum: Shut the door behind ... (She spots the snow fight)

Boys will be boys (She shakes her head and shuts the door)

[Outside in the snow...]

(Hiro throws snow at Jamess leg) Presents time

James: Finally, Mum doesnt let us open our presents till after church

Hiro: Well lets go then

(They walk back into the house)

Warren: That wasnt even a snow fight

Dad: She does know how to wreck the fun

( Anthony, Aaron, Takeshi, Takuma walk away down the road)

James: Merry Christmas, guys (They all wave and walk away)

Kazuki: Christmas in Japan, Hey, Christmas in Japan

Hiro:(Christmas in London, Kazuki, Christmas in London)

Kazuki: See Hiro, Regardless of what you think, what guilt you hold, you are not alone

Hiro: I know that now

Kazuki: It could of been fun, but I guess this is the end of the Weather Team?

Hiro: For now Kazuki, for now

(Kazuki walks off and waves) (Hiro smiles)

*Later inside Jamess House....]

Edward: What is gonna happen with the weather team Hiro?

Hiro: The black star gang need to be taken down once and for all

Edward: Its your decision Hiro on what goes on from now in Japan, Anthony has decided to make

the switch with us

Hiro: Yes I heard about that, But technically he started with you guys so, its understandable

James: I was dead then

Edward: Tense times then

Hiro: But I can feel it, Something big is going to happen, the ending to all of this is going to be big and

we got be ready, So much for Christmas in Japan

Hiro: Theyve kidnapped Kazukis Parents

(Emma puts her hand over her mouth)

Kazuki: LET ME GO DAMN IT! JUST LET ME GO!!!!

(He pushes Hiro over) (Kazuki flies out the window)

Hiro: KAZUKI COME BACK !!! (He flies off after him)

[In the Gobi desert ..]

(Hiro lands)

Sako: Hiro, what is going on?

Hiro: Black star gang have kidnapped Kazukis parents

Sako: Is he ok?

Hiro: He has gone vigilante, I need your help

Sako: Certainly

[In Fukuoka .....]

Kazuki: WHERE ARE MY PARENTS!!!!! IF YOU DONT TELL

ME WHERE THEY ARE I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU

[2 WEEKS LATER.....]

Takeshi: Were not getting anywhere with this comeback, I quit!

Kazuki: Me too

Emma: And ME !

Hiro: If you wanna do that then fine

(They all walk out and leave Hiro)

2 days later ...

[In London....]

Newsreader: Japanese Superhero Hiro Chen, also known as snowstorm has been seen drunk on aside street in Tokyo, London Superhero FireFlash flew him off to a unknown destination

[In the Gobi desert...]

Hiro: Im sick and tired of you Sako

(They start fighting on the sand dunes)

Sako: What is your damage?

(He punches Hiro)

Hiro: You think youre the best out of

everyone, But youre not!!

Sako: What more can you possibly do to me

huh, you have not believed me you have left

me for dead!

Hiro: Maybe I should of finished the job!!

Sako: KENJI didnt DIE!!

Hiro: Im gonna get you off my back once

and for all

[At Tokyo International Airport...]

Air traffic controller: Cleared to take off runway 16L

Kazuki: Cleared for take off

(He pushes the throttle forward)

Kazuki: Easy does it

(A knife touches Kazukis neck) Kenji: I believe we have unfinished business

Kazuki: Let me at least get in the air

(Kenji walks back into cabin)

[15 minutes later...]

(He puts the plane on autopilot) (He runs to Kenji) Kazuki: You have got the nerve!!!

(Kenji opens the Learjet door) (Air fills the cabin) (They get sucked into the sky)

[1 month later...]

Newsreader: The infamous Black Star Gang has declared war on the weather team this evening

(Newsreader continues) Aaron: This is it Emma, Ill do everything to protect you!!

Takeshi: GET DOWN!!!

(Bullets miss Takeshi)

Hiro: Their technology is to advance for us !!

(Kenji aims the Aries laser at the car Takeshi and Hiro are hiding behind)

Takuma: THATS THE AIRES LASER, WE NEED TO MOVE !!!!

(They take off and land next to the terminal building)

Kenji: ITS EITHER YOU OR US, THERE CAN BE NO TWO WINNERS OF THIS BATTLE!!!!

(The Weather Team gather in the Airport)

Hiro: I regret to say they mean business, Its either them or us, Were gonna have to kill them

Sako: We are going to have to end this now, for the sake of everyone

Kenji: You see this Im holding now, If I let go, we all die everyone loses

(Sako grabs Kenji and flies up into the night sky)

(The superheroes look) Jetisuma: Hes gonna die!!! Hes going to let the bomb explode with him still

there)

[In the sky....]

Kenji : Id do it you know, Blow us up here and now

(Sako looks at Kenji ) Sako: THEN DO IT!!!

(Kenji lets go of the device) (The device explodes)

Hiro: NO SAKO !

Jetisuma: Is he dead?

Emma: Sako

(Tears run from her eyes)

Hiro: So this is how it ends
