WE POWERED THE NETHERFIELD LIGHTS—

NOW LET US POWER YOUR HOME

Many of you will have seen the superb Nativity Scene that has been exhibited in the St Georges Centre and which was used as the focal point for our Christmas Cele-brations. These wonderful figures were expertly made by friend of the St Georges Centre—Mr Don Doe. Don spent 8 hours a day over 4 weeks making the 5 life size mod-els from cardboard, paper mache and textiles. His talents know no bounds!. We are extremely grateful to Don (who also made us our fan-tastic Halloween models ) and wish him a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thanks Don!

The evening was a fantastic success and special thanks must go to

Children of Netherfield Primary School Choir, St Georges Church and St Georges Church Bell Ringers, Mayor & Mayoress of Gedling Suzanne Prew-Smith and Dorothy Kavell, Gedling Borough Council Leisure Services & Neighbourhood Wardens Team. Cllr John Clarke, Carlton Brass Training Band, David Mellors, Don Doe’s amazing Nativity Scene, Heart FM, Nottingham Evening Post, Scent-sations Florists, Reads Cycles and Natalie Davis—our photogra-pher for the evening. Also all stall holders who made the Christmas Fair at St Georges Church & Centre such a success and all of the staff, Trustees & Volunteers of the St Georges Centre & the St Geor-ges Church.
