Graduate studiesWayne State is acclaimed for its Graduate School, where students can earn certificates as well as master’s, doctoral and professional degrees in hundreds of fields: law, medicine, information sciences, nursing, social work, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, business and more. Submit your transcript
Ask your high school or college to submit your transcript to WSU. This step must be completed by a school.
Provide your details
If you have taken the SAT or ACT, you may submit your scores to WSU. You can also choose to apply test-optional and submit the required supporting documents. Visit go.wayne.edu/admissions-updates for more information. To learn more about transferring credit from another college or university, or if you have AP or IB credits to apply to your Wayne State record, visit wayne.edu/transfercredit.

We believe there’s no better investment than the one you make for your future. That’s why even though Wayne State University’s tuition is the lowest among Michigan’s research universities, we support students with nearly $340 million annually in federal, state, institutional and private aid through scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs.The first step to financial assistance is visiting fafsa.gov to complete the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available beginning Oct. 1, 2021. File using the WSU federal code 002329 as early as possible (and before our priority deadline of Dec. 1, 2021) for maximum aid consideration. Once you complete the FAFSA and are admitted to Wayne State, you will receive your award information, which may include scholarships, grants and federal loans.
