OBJECTIVE

To streamline the process of segregation and storage of waste at source; collection and transport to material storage yard & disposal to out side party.

Definitions of Waste

Any waste which by reasons of any of its Physical, Chemical, Reactive, Toxic, Flammable, Explosive or Corrosive characteristics causes danger or is likely to cause danger to health or environment.

Types of WasteSr. No. Type of wastes Description

01 Non-hazardous waste (Bio-degradable)

Paper, cotton, jute bag, corrugated box.

02 Non-hazardous waste (Non-Biodegradable)

GI, SS, MS, Rubber, FRP material.

03 Hazardous waste Fuses, Bulb, PC, Motherboard, electrical waste etc.

04 Bio-Medical Waste Blood soak cotton, Syringe, etc.

Location of Waste Yard

• Waste yard is located at north side of company (Near Compound wall)

• Bio-Medical waste is located in Occupation Health Centre. (Near Time Office)

• Demarked place is provided for each of the items as per attached drawing
