The 18th century town house

at no. 20 Cavendish Square, is

thought to have been built in

1729 by Edward Shepherd.

This beautiful central locality gradually

became one of the most fashionable

neighbourhoods of Georgian England. The

Royal College of Nursing was founded in

1916 and the RCN headquarters is also

home to 20 Cavendish Square Venue.

intricate 1930’s glass domed ceiling.

It picks up the classical architecture of the

earlier house and is ideal for meetings, drinks

reception and as an overflow space from

Cowdray Hall, making it a perfect setting for

catering, registration and exhibition tables.
