Dear Cizens: I hope this finds all of you doing well. There isn’t anything to report on. However, there are 2 dates I would like to remind you about. First, our annual St. Regis Park Easter Egg hunt will be on April 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Football Field. We are grateful for Ascension allowing us to have it there. This will allow us to have ample parking, plenty of open space for the Easter egg hunt and a playground if children desire to play. Please make sure to bring your cameras for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Second, our first annual City of St. Regis Park Bats Day at Slugger Field will be on Sunday June 7th. Please see aached insert. The Louisville Bats take on the Durham Bulls that day at 2:00 p.m. Each resident may request up to six (6) free ckets per household and we ask that these ckets be used only for family members that claim residence in St. Regis Park. Again, please see aached insert for direcons on how to claim your ckets. THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST WILL BE TUESDAY APRIL 7, 2020. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MONTHLY COUNCIL MEETINGFebruary 4, 2020

Following are the Minutes of the February 2020 City Council Meeting for the City of St. Regis Park, held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Jeffersontown Fire station located at 4318 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40220.

ROLL CALL:Present: Brandt Davis, Craig Theis, Eric Shackelford, Louie Schweickhardt and Cheryl Willett.

Absent: John Amback, Donald Fountain, Jeff Weis

MAYOR’S REPORT:No Report

FINANCIAL REPORT:The city accountant, Mr. Charles J. Veeneman, CPA, presented the Financial and Investment Reports for January 2020. Mr. Shackelford made a motion to approve the reports as presented. Mr. Theis seconded the motion and it passed without dissent.

General FundYTD Revenues: $347,855.98YTD Expenses: $318,247.26YTD Revenue Over (Under) Expenses: $29,608.72

Road FundYTD Revenues: $21,268.32YTD Expenses: $100,496.39YTD Revenue Over (Under) Expenses: ($79,228.07)

MINUTES: Mr. Shackelford made a motion to approve the January 2020 Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting. The motion was seconded by Ms. Willett and it passed without dissent.

ENGINEER’S REPORT No Report

FINANCE: JEFF WEIS Mr. Weis stated that the December 2019 bank reconciliation was complete and there were no issues noted.

TREE BOARD:The fall/winter tree planting occurred in January 2020 and fourteen (14) trees were planted.

CITIZEN PARTICPATION: None

CITY ATTORNEY: The city attorney, Mr. John Singler of Singler and Ritsert presented the 2nd Reading of Ordinance #5, 2019-2020, an ordinance approving the Cable Franchise Agreement. Mr. Schweickhardt made a motion to approve the 2nd Reading of the ordinance. Mr. Shackelford seconded the motion and it passed without dissent.

Mr. Singler and Mayor Davis will continue to communicate with MAC Construction over the payment details for the 2019 road paving project.

ADJOURN:There being no further business, Mr. Shackelford made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Mr. Theis and it passed without dissent. The meeting adjourned at 7:35pm.

The city will be hosting and purchasing tickets for a day at Slugger Field on Sunday June 7th at

2:00 pm when the Louisville Bats take on the Durham Bulls.

Each resident may request up to six (6) free tickets per household and we ask that these tickets

be used only for family members that claim residence in St. Regis Park.

Tickets may be requested via email at [email protected] or by mailing to St. Regis Park at

PO Box 20429, Louisville, KY 40250. The tickets will be delivered to your house prior to June

ORDINANCE SUMMARY

ORDINANCE NO. 5, SERIES 2019-2020

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CABLE TELEVISION SERVICES

The City of St. Regis Park passed ordinance No 5, Series 2019-2020, which is an

ordinance relating to the cable television franchise renewal. This ordinance will regulate

and update the law associated with the renewal of the franchise that allows the cable

television provider to keep its facilities in the City’s right of way. Full text of the
