YOUR SCHEDULE
Our St. Regis Bahía Beach team will create a tailor-made event that will elegantly flow from morning to evening or night.
ARRIVALWe recommend that you arrive to Puerto Rico at least three days prior to your chosen ceremony date. Airport transfers can be arranged through our Concierge Desk. Prices vary depending on your choice of vehicle. Your driver will be at the airport to meet you, assist you with luggage and expertly bring you to our resort. After a short 30-minute drive, you will arrive at St. Regis Bahía Beach, where our courteous sta� will accompany you towards the check in counter and show all the accommodations.
Transfer services are provided by First Class Chau�eurs. St. Regis Bahía Beach will be delighted to assist you in arranging your preferred method of transportation.
FIRST DAYYour Wedding Planner will be excited to meet up and finalize every last detail. Your Event Manager will gladly go through all of our areas, finalize all details of the event, menus and other items from your agenda.
SECOND DAYMake yourself comfortable at the resort and sunbathe by the pool or at the breathtaking Bahía Beach! Join us at 6:00pm for our Champagne Sabering ritual at the Plantation House terrace. Explore the resort, discover our meditation spots, or go on our nature trails.
THIRD DAYOur butler will escort you to our Remède Spa, where you can indulge and enjoy its relaxing therapies. You deserve to be pampered before your big day.
WEDDING DAY AND CEREMONYAllow yourself to enjoy breakfast in bed, followed by a relaxing bubble bath. Once ready for the ceremony, our butler will escort you to the wedding ceremony venue where your “happily ever after” will begin. Your personal butler will be assisting you throughout the day.

REQUIREMENTS TO GET MARRIED IN PUERTO RICO
From the time of recognition of life’s gift of love, the desire and aspiration of being married is a recurring and joyful flash in one’s mind. Thoughts begin with the joys of an intimate wedding and a loved one in an exclusive lavish setting, at The St. Regis Bahía Beach.
Residency RequirementsTo get married in Puerto Rico you do not need to be a resident of Puerto Rico or a US citizen.The only requirement is your desire to get married on our enchanted Island.
Marriage LicenseA Marriage License is required and must be requested by letter. Both the bride and groom must appear in person at the time of applying for the license.
Laboratory TestsA VDRL blood test performed by a federally certified laboratory is crucial for the marriage process. You can have these tests performed at your local lab within 10 days prior to the wedding. A doctor in Puerto Rico will then review the results and sign the license.
Authentication of DocumentsOn just a quick visit to the Demographic Registry you can purchase the license stamps for $30.00. After this you’ll be ready to say “I do.” We will gladly arrange transportation and assistance if necessary.
IdentificationsValid identifications with photo or passports are required.
Other CertificatesIf you have been divorced or are a widower, please bring the corresponding certificates.
Religious and Civil CeremoniesFor your marriage to be legal, it must be performed either by a registered minister, judge or authorized clergyman.

WHERE TO OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE
All Marriage Licenses in Puerto Rico are expedited by the Demographic Registry. You can contact them by phone or mail regarding any doubts you may have about obtaining your Marriage License or Certificate. Tel. 787.767.9120, or have your wedding planner assist you with the paperwork. Applying for a marriage license in Puerto Rico is an easy step.

ROOMS AND PRE-ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENTS Special group and event rates are available for guest groups of 10 or more rooms, with a minimum length of stay that varies depending on the dates. Group prices may vary based on the arrival and departure dates for your wedding party and the accommodations you select for your guests. Please speak with our Sales O�ce for information on rates and availability.
Once your dates have been selected and your reservations have been placed, our on-property Event Manager will contact you to choose the location and set-up for the ceremony and banquet arrangements for that special day.
OUR ROOMSSuperior Guestrooms boast private terraces, complete with spectacular views of the exquisite and lush foliage carefully preserved in Bahía Beach. Deluxe Rooms o�er locations around the pool or in close proximity to our Plantation House (main building) and our Ballroom.
Grand Deluxe Rooms are situated near the Plantation House and our Ballroom.
Ocean View Rooms are located in proximity to the beach, although respecting the balance of nature and the coconut plantation feel of the resort.
Each of our spacious (674 sq.ft) guest room accommodations feature a luxurious duvet and 300-thread-count sheets, a walk-in-closet, an oversized desk, custom-designed furnishings, 40" LCD television, wireless keyboard, Samsung Surround Sound System, iPod® docking station, DVD/CD player, high speed wireless Internet access, in-room safe, wet bar, and mini refrigerator. In addition, our luxuriously appointed marble and granite baths feature oversized soaking tubs, separate shower areas, and double vanities with oversized mirrors featuring imbedded LCD televisions.

THE GOVERNOR’S SUITEIt is a “one-of-a-kind” stately accommodation. This unique suite features an oversized balcony with breathtaking views, private kitchen with separate entrance, private elevator, living room, dining room and master bedroom with a dressing room. It also features an oversized bathroom with views from its own relaxation terrace, an overflowing bathtub and dual shower, as well as all other suite amenities. This unique suite follows the colonial feel of the resort and provides a relaxing residential atmosphere.
ST. REGIS SUITESOur one-bedroom oceanfront St. Regis Suites feature a beautiful view, and are located just 40 yards from the Atlantic Ocean’s crashing surf. These suites feature not only a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed, but also a walk-out terrace with table and chairs, and one king bed in the bedroom. All of our rooms are adorned with a luxurious plush duvet, 300-thread- count Pratesi linens, a walk-in-closet, an oversized desk, custom designed furnishings, 240" LCD televisions, wireless keyboard, BOSE® sound system, iPod® docking station, DVD/CD player, high speed wireless Internet access, in-room safe, wet bar, mini refrigerator and two luxurious bathrooms. Can we hold the space while we make our decision?We know that this is a very important decision. We o�er a 7-day temporary hold on your event space once a proposal has been prepared. Upon receiving the contract you will have 7 days to return it signed along with the deposit for the wedding.
What is a food and beverage minimum?The food and beverage minimum is the amount you are required to spend for the event. It is calculated based on all the food and beverage purchased for your event and does not include sales tax or service charge. It is a minimum commitment and does not imply a total cost of your event.
What is the average food and beverage cost per person for the wedding reception?Our average food and beverage minimum is $250.00 per person. Prices will vary depending on menu selections.
Will I have a Wedding Menu Tasting?For weddings and special events with a minimum food and beverage consumption of $18,000.00 a complimentary tasting will be extended for up to 4 guests. To ensure a bespoke experience, your tasting will be scheduled with a minimum of 30 days in advance. Guest may choose (6) appetizers, (2) salads, (2) plated entrées and (3) flavors of cake.

What is the sound ordinance of the hotel if I should decide to have my event outdoors?The time ordinance of the hotel is 10:00pm for all outdoor events. At this time the music should be turned o�. Events can be moved to an indoor venue.
Are bartenders included within the price?Bartenders have an additional charge of $150.00 per bartender. For a good service in your event we reccomend one bartender per 50 guests.
How many waiters will I have for my event?The hotel standard quantity of waiters is 1 per every 10 guests for plated menus.
Are there any specific vendors I am required to use at the resort?The St. Regis Bahía Beach has a list of preferred vendors that is provided to all our future brides and grooms. We recommend these vendors because they follow the highest service standards and can provide our clients with the most memorable experience. However, brides and grooms may feel free to bring in their own vendors if that is their preference.
Is lighting included for my outdoor events during the night?Lighting is not included for outdoor events during nighttime. PSAV our in-house vendor will be able to provide you with prices and options.
