The setting up of a more reliable communication service proves necessary to avoid endless waiting as weil as unnecessary travelling. AVISO is a voice processing system dedicated to air transport. It can solve your problems of broadcasting information about timetables and traffic irregularities. EASYTO USE The user links up with AVISO by telephone. AVISO informs him about major irregularities of current f1ights, then suggests a multiple choice proposai: departure or arrivai times, choice of destinations or origins, selection of a f1ight according to its number. By way of the phone keyboard, the user quickly gains access to the required in- formation. ACCURATE INFORMATION Aviso is connected to the computer system of the airport or of the airline. It benefits from an interface with SITA network (International Society of Airline Telecommunications). Consequently, the broadcasted information is automatically kept up to date in real time, requiring no operator. The system analyses and checks the MVT messages (IATA Standard). As such, it detects and handles obser- ved defects by pointing them out to the SITA broadcasting station, as weil as by advising the operator with a warning signal. A MULTI-OPTIONAL AUDIOTEX AVISO is adaptable to the existing computer structures. For example, it can automatically updates the depar- ture and arrivai boards of an airport. Moreover, AVISO is a multilingual voice processing system and is associa- ted to many configurable parameters, enabling to suit most of the airport needs.
