Voice of Fetus, Nepal “Help my Mom, save me too & stop abortion”

To all our prayer partner: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I always convey my heartiest gratitude to God, because He revealed me this truth that ‘every women deserve better than abor-tion’. Today, countless women who have been dam-aged by abortion said, ‘ I had no idea this could happen; no one warned me about the risks.’ According to a survey, over 90 percent of women said they weren’t given enough information to make an informed choice, over 80 percent said it was very unlikely they would have aborted if they had not been so strongly encouraged to abort by others, in-cluding their abortion counselors and 83 per-cent said they would have carries to term if they would had received support from boy-friends, families, or other important people in their lives. Essentially, abortion is not the real solution of women’s internal problems. The provision of legal restriction and legal right to abortion never get to the bottom of women’s problems. In order to address and solve their problems they need to be well informed about the real-ity of conception, prenatal development of child, abortion procedures, types and conse-quences and life saving alternatives means and solution of unintended pregnancies be-sides abortion. In addition, they need to be loved, supported and heard by their family and society. ‘To get information and education is their fun-damental right’, according to Nepal’s law and the Bible says, ‘My people perish because of lack of Knowledge.’ So, on 1st August, 2010, VOF Nepal con-ducted a public awareness program to inform women at risk. The program was conducted with the active involvement of local women group called ‘Sahayogi Samuha’ ‘Support group’. The program was held at a carpet factory of Jorpati, Kathmandu. Many women were informed with the realities of conception, fetal development, abortion procedures, types and consequences. Really, women need love not abortion. They deserve better than abor-tion.

He is Mr. Elisha Soman Rai the executive director of VOF Nepal who is a voluntarily unpaid staff. He is available part-time for oral and written translation work, teaching in bible school
