February, 2012 Dear Pro-life colleague, San Jose Article 2 states that each human life is a continuum that begins at conception and advances in stages until death. Dr. Alfred M. Bongioanni, professor of obstetrics at the University of Pennsylvania, stated, “I have learned from my earliest medical education that human life begins at the time of conception...human life is present throughout this entire sequence from conception to adulthood...any interruption at any point throughout this time constitute a termination of human life.” (Source:Why Pro-life?). Bible also addresses to unborn as a babe (Luke 1:44). So, it is very important to know and make other to know about the value of human life in every stage of human development. On last 4th. February, 2012, VOF Nepal had a very good opportunity to teach about the value of human life and the harsh truth of abortion among the teenagers of three different orphanages (Children home) around the Kathmandu. Elisha Soman Rai had started the program with the teaching of Biblical Sexuality and the tragic results of unhealthy sexual relation. He also presented the DVD about the human development and abortion. All the participant were really excited and expressed their thanksgiving to VOF. VOF entire team also like to say thank you to Sister Asha, her team and Korean church for preparing the platform for them to speak about LIFE. May God bless them too.
