started with sweet hours of worship led by Bro. Jomesh Tamang and challenging message by Rev. Dr. Mangal Man Maharjan. Soman Rai had presented VoF’s progress report and new year plan and Ps. Prakash Bagale presented financial report and VoF’s new estimated budget. VoF general meeting agreed to conduct five vision building seminars regarding ‘Sanctity of LIFE’ in five development regions of Nepal. VoF’s estimated budget is NRS.915,000.

Abortion on Biblical Perspective: One Day Seminar in Palung, Makwanpur.

On 14th September,2011 VoF Nepal conducted one day seminar in Emmaus Church, Palung Makwanpur with the partnership of local church. More than 54 Christian brother and sisters learnt together about the harsh truth of abortion and sanctity of life.

On last 21st. September, 2011, Elisha Soman Rai the Executive Director of VOF Nepal had an opportunity to visit Biratnagar and conduct a pro-life seminar among the 64 influence pastors, leaders and medical person of different church, organization and institutes. The seminar was happened with the active network of Christian Society of the Morang District. The seminar was initiated by 8 am morning with nice breakfast. After the breakfast, Ps. Navin the vice chairperson of the Society led the seminar with prayer and warm welcome and submitted remaining time of the seminar to Elisha Soman Rai (VOF). Elisha Soman Rai started his class with tragic images, information and facts of Nepal and Nepali churches regarding abortion matter and then he presented the DVD called ‘Wonderfully and Uniquely Created and therefore choose life”.

After the presentation of DVD, he led the participants in an interaction process, where all of them had an chance to share their feelings, confusions and questions regarding the presentation and again Elisha Soman Rai tried his best to clarify and answer the participants’ confusion and questions regarding the presentation. It was really a productive interaction and discussion. After the interaction, the seminar took one hour break for lunch. After the delicious lunch, Elisha provoked the participants in order to break the silence of Nepali churches and address this unaddressed issue in their local communities and challenged them to identify the potential church responsibilities on this matter. And he led them in restoration and healing prayer process. Many of them were seen in serous mood during the prayer.

Similarly, on 15th September, 2011 VOF conducted another seminar in Emmaus Christian Church, Tistung Makwanpur with the active partner-ship of local church, where more than 84 believers were gathered and learnt about the abortion on biblical perspective and prayed together.

Abortion on Biblical Perspective: One Day Seminar in Hindi at Darbhanga, North Bihar

And on 4th October, 2011, with the active coordination of a local Pastor called Baiju Bhandari the Director of Eternal Life Ministry in Bihar, Soman Elisha Rai and his friend conducted one day seminar in Hindi regarding ’Abortion on Biblical Perspective.’ The seminar was taken palce in the Kamala Nehru Smarak Bhawan, Laheraisarai of Darbhanga, where 130 participants were gathered from different districts of North Bihar.

On 25th. September, 2011, VoF Nepal conducted another seminar in Birtamod, Jhapa with the networking of Believers Church Council, Jhapa. 54 Fathers, Pastors and leaders were participated in that seminar. The seminar was focused on the issue of abortion and had presented the Pro-life DVD to participants, which was really effective.

There was an important program of inauguration and dedication of Pro-life Hindi DVD ‘Wonderfully and Uniquely Created & Therefore Choose Life’, Leader’s Guide and two related colorful brochures by the hand of Ps. Walter Paul of Darbhanga.
