INTRODUCTION

This document defines how the ODETTE Standard Message DELINS, version 3, is applied

while sending delivery instructions concerning the goods to be transported to Valmet

Automotive Inc. This implementation plan is based on the international DELINS message

published by the ODETTE organization.

Message diagram on the page 4 describes the whole DELINS message. Segments and

segment groups drawn with bold line on the message diagram are used by Valmet

Automotive while sending delivery instructions to the suppliers.

After the message diagram there are specifications for utilized segments of the DELINS

message. Segment specification shows which elements are in use and what data is included

in each element of the segment concerned.

At the end of this document there is a demonstration message which gives an example of a

real message in the ODETTE format.
