The potential for the IoT to change the way the world works is limitless, and connected devices are becoming an asset to helping organizations make smarter, more efficient business decisions – like how to create and maintain an efficient workplace. SPEAKER’S PROFILE Heidi has been working in the supply chain and logistics field since 90s and is now supporting GS1 to lead the Smart Professional Services team since 2006. Services include Supply Chain Professional Services, Smart Operations, Smart Property, Smart Traceability as well as Training and Development. Apart from conducting business process reengineering for companies, Heidi’s team would also responsible for tehcnology sourcing, technology evaluation and technology implementation from local to overseas. The utlimate objective is to assit company to acheive business optimization, comply global standards and maximize return-on-investment on technology implementation. Over the years, Heidi has supported diverse companies include governement bureaus, public utilities and companies within and beyond Hong Kong with her team to acheive above-stated objective. Besides, Heidi is also appointed as GS1 Global Trainer to support over 114 GS1’s member offices and she is also helping the Unviersity of Hong Kong and Polytechnic University to conduct lecturing on General Management and Supply Chain.
