Basic Operation

Connecting Power to the outdoor unit

1. Connect The 12volt adapter cable to the power slot on the back of the unit.

2. Please note: If using a power source other than the provided adapter be careful to

observe the correct polarity. Red to + and Black to -.

3. Fix the unit in the rain cover. Turn on the power. Booting takes about 35 seconds.

Android App Download and Device Pairing

1. For android : Use the following QR code to download or search in the play store for

”idoorphone”.

2. Install the App.

3. Remove the unit from the rain cover (you will hear a tamper alarm).

4. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the unit until you hear ”pairing”

from the speaker.

5. Place the unit back in the cover.

6. Open the App and press ” + add device”.

7. Afterwards you will hear ”pairing successful”.

8. If pairing fails, it might be necessary to connect the android device manually to the

idoorphone.

a. While the idoorphone is in pairing mode

i. Press settings WiFi settings on the phone.

ii. Connect to the idoorphone’s hotspot.

9. Try adding the device again.

10. Type in the password for the desired WLAN.

iOS App Download and Device Pairing

1. For iOS : Use the following QR code to download or search in the app store for

”idoorphone”.

2. Install the App.

3. Remove the unit from the rain cover (you will hear a tamper alarm).

4. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the unit until you hear ”pairing”

from the speaker.

5. Place the unit back into the rain cover.

6. Connect the iOS device directly to idoorphone in iOS device WiFi settings.

7. Open the App and press ”+ add device”.

8. Afterwards you will hear ”pairing successful”.

9. Press the sprocket to enter device settings. Press WLAN.

10. Press the WLAN to connect the unit to the local WiFi and type in the password.

11. Afterwards press “Done”

Adding extra Smartphones and tablets

Note: maximum 4 smartphones or tablets.

From a smartphone or tablet that is already paired, press settings unlock settings enable

pairing. Add the device according to the above instructions for android or iOS.

Main Settings

Press Settings (sprocket to the right of the device in the app screen) to make adjustments to the

basic functions.

WiFi Settings:

Used to connect the idoorphone to a wireless network.

User Setting:

Used to change the log in password. User name is admin and default password is admin.

From the main screen press “edit”, type in old password and new password.

Press done.

Once the password is changed, it is necessary to log in again

Press on the device and type in the new password.

Motion Settings

Used to activate motion detection and adjust sensitivity

Slide the “Motion Detection” button to activate.

Press “Sensitivity to adjust to the desired level.

Date & Time:

Used to set the date, time and time zone. Synchronization with the iOS or android

device is also possible.

Unlock Settings:

Use these settings to change the unlock password (123456 default).

Type “Old Password”, “New Password” then press Done.

Adjust the duration for the output pulse to a door lock from 1 to 8 seconds.

Select “Set Unlock Duration”.

Select time for duration in seconds (4S for 4 seconds).

Press “Done”.

Enable pairing to add additional devices by pressing “Enable Pairing”

The idoorphone will say “pairing”

Follow the instructions for adding additional devices.

TF Card Settings:

Use these settings to check the amount of space remaining and to format the card

“TF” (TransFlash) is the same as a microSD.

Maximum size is 32gb

Format the card by pressing “Reformat TF Card”

Image Settings:

Set “Power frequency” to 50Hz for use in Europe.

Press “Done”

Device Information:

See the current “Device Version” and SD Card space.

Check for upgrades by pressing “Check for Upgrade”

Upgrades are only possible with an SD card installed.

After upgrading on iOS devices, it is necessary to press “Reset Push”.

Installations guide

The outdoor unit should be placed 1.4 – 1.7 m above ground. Avoid direct sunlight.

• Attach the rain cover to the wall.

• Connect the power cables as per the wiring diagram

• Place the outdoor unit into the rain cover as shown in the picture below.

• Insert the security screw at the bottom of the rain cover as shown
