Why I have Authored this Book ?

nqfu;k dgrh Fkh] ;s ukeqefdu gS]

ge dgrs gSa fd eqefdu djuk gh rks ftUnxh gS-To spot out a leader to solve the crisis is the Job requirement of the defence forces. Leader and leadership

both are the parameter for the crisis management. Whosoever will manage the crisis is suitable for the Armed forcesin the officer cadre. Everyone is not meant to face the crisis and one who fails to do it is the most miserable manin the world. So many casualities were reported in the second world war which resulted the modification of theselection system being opted by the SSB’s that is scientific, fool-proof and one of the best in the world.

We have fought 5 wars starting from 1947-48 to 99 and this system beyond any doubt has proved its worthand potential of officers it has produced. A part, we have similar set ups that is NDA, IMA, OTA, Airforce Academyand Naval Academy etc. which are well equipped and one of the best in the world. These Academies not onlyproduce officers but also the best citizens also who can also face and accept the challenges through out the life.

I am the first civilian in this country who has never been into the Armed Forces and have dared to write sucha first and only Comprehensive literature on SSB, first time being available to you since the inception of this system.I am proud to say that what I have written. A person from the forces or from the system can’t write or hesitateto write because of some reasons and boundations. Boys nothing great has been achieved without great sacrifices, for 1% success you should be ready to face 99% failure. While writing this book I am not in position to decidemy status now it is upon you in whose lies my hope of spelling success. It is you all who with your guts andintrepidity, patience and perseverance shall prove me to be right.

The glory of guru is beyond humanity and universe. Responsibility is attributed to both not to infringe thepersonal and interactional relationship. Grievances did not reveal that what actually the want was? However torevise the literature again the credit goes to your ridiculing, mental, moral and intellectual harassment. Nobody canchallenge the destiny of ‘Aman’ followed by law of nature which confers that whosoever will make the sacrificeswill arm the success. The revised edition is the product of sacrifices and persistence.

Message from the Author’s Family

My dear readers, this is a very good book on SSB, which is complete in itself. The writer of this book had to face alot of problems in the process of bringing this book to you, which was a challenge indeed. My dear readers, please havea look on what is life?

1. Life : My dear readers, when you born you cried while the whole world celebrated it. You should live your life insuch a way that on your death the whole world should cry and you should celebrate.

2. Challenges : My dear readers, if you will continue to blame others for your problems and difficulties then neveryou will be able to get rid of them.

3. Impossible : My dear readers, nothing is impossible in this world. Whatever we can think we can do and we canalso have the potential to think which we have not thought of till date. Like no matter how small our eyes are but theyshould have the potential to see the whole sky.

4. Never give up : My dear readers, it is not beneficial to return from the midway because while returning you haveto travel back the same amount of distance which is required to dash the destination.

5. Victory and benefit : My dear readers, our victory introduces us to the world and our defeat introduces the worldto us.

6. Self-confidence : My dear readers, if you want something from your heart then the whole world helps you toachieve that, no matter how difficult is the task?

7. Greatness : My dear readers, greatness is not in never going down rather greatness is in going down and thenrising up again.

8. Mistakes : My dear readers, if you don’t realize your mistakes on time then you commit one more mistake. Youcan learn from your mistakes only when you accept your mistakes. SSB throws you out because of lies and wronganswers like an ocean never accepts anything inside.

9. Power : My dear readers, every power in the universe is within us. It is us who cover our eyes with our own handsand then cry that we have only darkness.

10. Tension : My dear readers, if we are tensed because of the situations which are not in our control then in thefuture we are left with only regret.

11. Hard work : My dear readers, if you want to write then we can write our own destiny with our self-confidenceand hard work, and if we are not able to write our destiny then the situations will write our destiny.

To Whom it May Concern

( x )

12. Dreams : My dear readers, dreams are not those which we see while we are sleeping. Dreams are those whichnever let us sleep and constantly motivate us to achieve our aim.

13. Time : My dear readers, you cannot say that you do not have time as you are also getting 24 hours in a daywhich the successful people had.

14. Trust : My dear readers, trust has the power by which you can bring light into our ruined world. Trust can reveala stone as the God which reflects the God in a stone and distrust can make a man (the creation of the God) as a stonehearted fellow.

15. Thought : My dear readers, think like an eagle which hits the sky with no rain in sight. Occurrences are plenty, sight is rare. The ontology of freedom does not lie in hedonistic narcissism rather it does so in cognitive self- discipline.Dear students, you have to build yourself from within, no one can teach you, no one can make you spiritual and yoursole is the only one which can teach you. Your self-confidence and hard work is the medicine which can cure the diseaseof failure. This makes you a successful person. In adverse situations some people break down whereas some greatpeople break the records. Students, you cannot change the destiny but you can change your habit and in turn yourhabits will definitely change your destiny. Dear students, if you think you can do it then you can do it and if you thinkyou can’t do it, then you can’t do it.

I am alone, but I exist. I can’t do everything but I can do something and because I can’t do everything. I never stepback to do something which I can do. Dear students, having no degree is actually beneficial because if you are a doctoror an engineer then you can do only one type of job but if you are not possessing any degree then you can do anythingor every things except in the specialized or in technical fields.

My dear readers, these books of SSB are best in India. After reading this book you yourself will realize that howevery word is related to your personality. What SSB wants is being told in this book and also the difference betweengiving coaching and giving selection. I have promised myself to help you all to achieve your aim. My dear student if mywords or my writing have helped you to shape your future, then it will generate fire within myself and I will be ready toface the challenges of the world. I will pray to the almighty for your successful life.
