If you already have an associate’s degree and areready to start work on a four-year degree, take yourgeneral education courses here. You’ll save money andenjoy the convenience of being close to home. Manygeneral education classes can also be taken online.

What are Bridge Programs?Bridge Programs are agreements OCtech has in place with select four-yearinstitutions that provide a direct and well-defined path for a student to beadmitted to the four-year institution after taking coursework at OCtech.
Effective April 30, 2014, Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program has been granted Candidate forAccreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314; phone:703.706.3245; email: [email protected]). Candidate for Accreditation is a pre-accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission onAccreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates that the program may matriculate students in technical/professional courses and that theprogram is progressing toward accreditation. Candidate for Accreditation is not an accreditation status nor does it assure eventual accreditation.

Presidential Scholars ProgramAre you a recent high school graduate with a high GPA? Do you want to savethousands of dollars while still working toward your educational goals? If so, this elite program is for you!!! What is the Presidential Scholars Program?• a one-year program for recent high school graduates with at least a 3.0 GPA who have never attended college and have qualifying SAT, ACT or Compass test scores
• promotes academic and leadership skills• includes a summer enrichment program for transferrable course credits of either a study abroad experience or an internship with a local business
