The University in Mostar is one of 8 public Universities in B&H.

The reasons for the reforms studies and starting of the bachelor and master’s studies with 3+2 system can be found in the changes of educational systems in Europe on one hand, and on the other it was the Faculty's necessity to modernize our Faculty.

These reforms are completely in conformity with the goals of Bologna Declaration, and as such they will enable the Faculty to be part of the European educational system or “The Europe of knowledge”.

Two cycles:Three – year undergraduate studies (Bachelor Degree)Two-year graduate studies (Master of Science Degree),

Goals:

•Standardization of quality dairy products through the introduction of EU standards for quality management and /or standards for food safety

•Improving sales of special cheeses from small producers through the implementation of the EU standards for food safety, promotion and inproved branding and labeling

•Thanks to our education three local certified assessors participated for the first time as members of the committee for the evaluation of the traditional authentic cheeses

Goals:

•Promoting enviromentally sustainable and productive beekeeping in accoordance with good beekeeping practices in order to preserve bees and insurance requirements for honey production safe for human consumption as in instrument for reducing poverty, especially among young people.

•Increase the competitiveness of the beekeeping sector in B&H through improved yield of honey per hive, production of quality honey and honey production in accordance with EU standards.

3. We organized a symposium for agricultural producers with goals:

• Increase in yield per cow by introducing new balancing meals, compurerized feeding and technologies for fertilization

•Production of high-quality roughage by ensuring efficient agricultural machinery

•Avoidance of negative impacts on the environment resulting from the proposed activities
