Each letterform has unique parts that

make them distinct in how we write or type

them. Over time, though, these parts have

been altered or adjusted as a result of the

    world changing around us.

Each typeface we use has distsinct

differences from the whether we notice

or not. The difference in faces goes along

with the location in which it was made, as

well as the time it was made.

    Understanding Anatomy

    By overlapping the varying typefaces

as fills and strokes it helps further our

understanding of, not only the little

differences, but also the large differences

between type, like spacing and sizes.

    Typographic Kinetics

Every letter has a personality and

arranging them in a certain order or

placing them a certain way should not

    take away from that.

If cropped or placed a certain way it should

    still be readable.

The counterform is not just the space

around or inside a letterform. It is the

space that helps sculpt the letterforms we

see today as we see them.
