Each year CCDA hosts a National Conference in a different U.S. city and in 2012, the conference is coming to the Twin Cities! If you want to be a part of planning a conference that changes lives and refreshes weary souls, email the Conference Director, Erin Schultz ([email protected]) and express your interest in being part of the Twin Cities Host Team. Ways to get involved... e Host Team works alongside the National Office over a two-year period to plan and execute an amazing conference. Here are some ways you could be involved: Alternate Housing (locate and connect attendees with inexpensive housing options) Childcare (coordinate childcare and volunteers needed to facilitate) Discover the City (plan and implement activities that give attendees) Fundraising (work with CCDA HQ to connect with local organizations/businesses to secure funding) Hospitality (welcome attendees to city and conference; ensure that attendees’ needs are met) Prayer (spearhead pre-conference and on-site prayer; encourage atmosphere of prayer) Publicity (get the word out locally, ensuring that CCDA reaches a variety of demographic groups) Transportation (arrange ground transportation for CCDA leaders and speakers) Volunteer Recruitment/Coordination (recruit 250 volunteers to serve on-site in various capacities) Workshops (work with CCDA National Office to identify workshop topics and speakers) If you are interested in learning more about the Twin Cities Host Team, email CCDA’s Conference Director, Erin Schultz ([email protected]).
