Congratulations! Now the next step: To prepare for the Sacra-ment of marriage: please come to the mandatory Marriage Ori-entation before you meet with the pastor. Both Bride and Groom must be present and attend the entire presentation. The next English orientation is set for Thursday, August 29th at 7pm in the School Room 1A. We will discuss the entire marriage pro-cesses, including the required documents needed. These month-ly meetings are held between February and November. You need to call the Parish Office and register by August 22nd, in order to attend orientation!

In the Gospel this Sunday, Jesus points out that the decision to be a disciple will cause division and discord. The church embraces and upholds values that stand in stark contrast to the values of the world. Even within the church there are divisions and disagreements. This is because we are all sinners. Christ calls us all to conversion and in the process we will experience division and discord. The question is can we love those with whom we disagree as Christ taught us to do?
